I love watching Katie when she doesn't know I'm watching her. She plays in a while different way when she doesn't think anyone's watching. I think it's the cutest. As soon as she sees me looking though, she will stop and crawl over to me. I can't imagine what she's thinking in that little head of hers haha. I can't wait til she gets older and I can "listen" to her making her dolls and such talk to each other lol. She's so cute.

Her 1st Tooth!
Katie's first tooth is popping through. It's so small you can barely see it, but you sure can feel it! It's out of the gum, but just barely. I
am so proud of her behaivor. I didn't even know she was teething, she hasn't been cranky or fussy. I read all the blogs on here saying how horrible it is when their baby is teething, and Katie hasn't fussed at all. I'm so glad. She's such a good baby I can't believe it. Her tooth is so cute, you don't even know how excited I was when I felt that sucker lol. I can't wait to show David tonight (if Katie's still awake). It's the bottom front tooth. Well, one of them haha. I can't wait til she gets another one. My little girl is growing up :( lol. I'm thinking about getting her ears pierced this weekend, now that she's showing signs of "growing up" lol. I'm not 100% sure yet, but as long as it's not too expensive, I think I'm going to take her on Saturday. I hope she doesn't cry too much. I will for sure bring a camera though so I can have pictures of it :)

And the boring day comes to an end...

After she was full and done eating, she was changed so she could be FRESH! Then she played in her walker for a little bit. She loves that thing, but of course having the short attention span she does, she only stays in it for 10-20 minutes, but that's still a good enough break for Mommy :) After she settled down a little my Mom read her a story. "Curious George Rides a RollerCoaster" I had gotten it for her when we went to Wal-Mart earlier. I need to start reading to her more. I want her to like books as she grows up. Hopefully it will help make her into smart little girl :) Don't let her fool you though, as soon as that book was finished, she was all over the place again. Crawling to me, pulling herself up into my lap, I played with her for a bit, swinging her and making her laugh. She is always so full of energy, she amazes me. I'm tired long before she is!

First Trip To The Park
Mom, and Dave Dave went with us. We stayed for maybe an hour because Dave Dave wasn't ready to leave yet lol. Next time I'd like to try a different park. Today we went to McAdam and there isn't too much to do there honestly. I can't wait til she can walk, and go to whatever she wants to play with :)Posted by Heather at 11:49 PM 0 comments

Stuck
Yesterday the funniest thing happened. I was at my Mom's house as usual, and Katie was crawling all over the family room. Eventually, somehow she crawled backwards and ended up getting stuck under a chair lol. She started crying, so being the good Mom I am, I ran and got a camera before I helped her out. LOL. She is so funny. I crack up at her everyday :)

Standing Up
Now that my daughter has mastered the crawling thing. She is trying to walk. But first things first. She has to be able to stand up before she can start walking. Lately she has been pulling herself up with things like the couch, table, and chair to try to stand. It cracks me up, I just think she's the cutest lol. She is so determined to get around. I can't believe it. I never would have thought babies could try so hard to do something, or that there are things they REALLY want to do. But I'm glad she's trying so hard. I'm going to be SO PROUD of her when she is finally able to walk. I know she still has months to go, but watching her try more and more everyday makes me feel so lucky to have her. She's a LOT of work! The most hyper baby I've ever seen! But I can't picture not having her around. I love her so much!

My First Post
I wanted to start this blog to let Katie's family know what's going on in her life everyday, for memories, so I can see what we've done over the year, and how Katie has grown. I wish I would have started it when Katie was first born, so that I could have it all written down for her when she's older, but I guess this will have to do. I plan on printing my blog out every year (Blurb.com prints them for you in a nice hardcover book for not too much money), for as long as I can keep it up, and that way Katie will always have her memories all put together nicely for her in books. And if she doesn't care, at least I will have them :p I love Katie so much, and watching her grow has to be the best thing in my life. I look forward to every new thing she does :) I hope you all like my blog, and that I'm not too boring for you :p
