Chuck Can Always Entertain Me

Whenever I'm bored, and the weather is not good park weather, I think: Chuck's! I found a coupon on-line that gave us 100 tokens for $10, so I invited Desiree and David to come with Katie and I. When we got there, I saw the cutest kid's cups and had to buy them one lol. They were so cool drinking their fruit punch, haha. Next were rides and games of course! :p

We got over 250 tickets so Katie got a mic she kept pointing to, that I knew she'd like (she's always using random objects at home to sing into) and a few mini lollipops. David got lollipops, a gun, stickers, bugs, and a taffy. Really, it's all junk at Chuck's, but cool for him haha.

Katie and David were using Katie's mic to sing Taylor Swift on the way home, until Katie wore herself out. When we got to GG's though, she was all ready to play again.

A Lazy Morning, A Mellow Afternoon, A Sad Night

We spent the morning being lazy and hanging out. David's plane was taking off at 10:35pm. While Katie slept, David played Halo, and I went out to get food for us. When Katie woke up, she decided everyone's hair needed to be brushed.
I asked Katie if she wanted to go to the park, but she was having a hard time saying bye to the kitty that's always roaming our apartments. She didn't understand why kitty couldn't come to the park too, and kept saying "c'mon" without being followed.

We took Katie to the park for over an hour, she enjoyed herself. She went on almost all the slides, and made us push her in the swing for what seemed like forever lol.

After the park we headed over to Peech's again for a Memorial Day bbq. The kids played outside while the food was cooking, and then everyone headed inside and the boys started playing pool like usual.

At some point during the adult's conversation, David's Dad was showing them an army move, I think....lol.

My Mom watched Katie while I took David to the airport, so she wouldn't have to be trapped in the car for hours. Bye Katie, Bye Dada.

Musical Road & Sandwiches

David and I didn't really have anything planned for the day so we went to eat at Carl's Jr. since David hasn't gotten to eat his favorite fast food places in a while.

After we decided to go to the movies and see Terminator,because Night At The Museum was sold out :/ We dropped Katie off with my Mom and headed to the theater.After the movie we picked up Katie and drove to the musical road in Lancaster. It was pretty cool and I'd be lying if I said I didn't go over it 3 times lol. That was a hassle too, the roads blocked off for a bit so you can't keep doing U-Turns, you have to go all the way back to the light. It was cute though. After that we went to meet David's Dad at his house and we followed them to Peech's house to play pool and eat sandwiches. Katie played with her cousins and David played pool with his Dad, Steve, and Bobby. (Peech was out fishing.) Relaxing day, it was nice having David home for the entire day.
