Strawberry Festival

I went to the Strawberry Festival with Debbie, Jorge, Melissa, Ashley, and Katie, who got to watch Brother Bear on Ashley's DVD player on the car ride up, til she fell asleep :) It was a pretty fun day! The weather was so nice, the sun wasn't out, but it was still warm enough that I didn't need a jacket, but cold enough that I was glad I wore pants! When we got there we ate right away, haha. I got a hamburger, Melissa got a hot dog, and poor Ash couldn't decide what she wanted lol. They had so much food to choose from! After we ate I bought Katie an ice cream that she ate up til it fell off the stick. Then she said she was thirsty, so I thought I'd be nice and buy her a yummy frozen lemonade.
She took 2 drinks before she "no want it!" Whatever. Walking along, we saw a freakin' bear and started cracking up...too funny.
Then we walked around the little booths/shops and Ashley found a henna booth and got a cute flower on her back, but she was kinda bummed she couldn't even see it....lol.


Ash had to go back to get some spray on it, I guess to make sure it stays on, so we stayed close by looking around and taking random pictures.


Walking to find the kiddie rides, we saw Strawberry Shortcake herself! Of course we had to get a picture, I was so excited. (Katie's not in it because she fell asleep :/)We finally found the kid rides, and poor Katie was 2 inches too short to go on EVERYTHING except the Merry-Go-Round. Poor kid. We took her on twice though, to make up for it. She liked it a lot :)


We were getting bored so we went to get chocolate covered strawberries (FINALLY!). I bought 3 and gave Katie 1, which she took 1 bite of chocolate of, and then threw on the floor. Aye. We went to In N Out to eat before going home. Ash was cool with her ketchup on ketchup joke...lol.I became a sticker board. & Katie walked happily to the van with the rest of her fries.
