Happy 6th Birthday David Robert!

For David's birthday, Desiree threw a party for him at Mulligan's, in a cool glow room! :) She invited family and his friends from school and karate class. A lot of kids showed up! He had tons of fun!

Welcome To The World, Emma Jean!

My best friend had her daughter today! She lives in Las Vegas for the moment, so I drove 3 1/2 hours to go meet her baby after she told she's in labor! My Mom came with me, scared I might break down or something on the drive. No one has faith in my car, LOL. It's terrible! We only stopped once for lunch and made it there just a few minutes after Laura had Emma. We had to wait forever to finally go in, since Laura had a C-Section and they had to close her up and all that! On the way to the hospital, I stopped by a party store and picked up balloons. Unfortunately, the hospital wouldn't let me bring them inside. They said some patients may be allergic to latex. Blah!

It was a long drive back home, it started to rain, and my Mom was driving me crazy being a back seat driver! I was so thankful to be back in Palmdale! Haha. Katie did an awesome job, she's such a great kid. I'm glad I was able to be there for my best friend! Her baby is beautiful and I can't wait until they move back to Palmdale in May!

Character Day!

Disneyland had a Character Weekend, where rare characters came out to take pictures with the guests. My favorite thing to do is take pictures, so of course I had to go! I read on Facebook that among the characters that won the poll, were the Seven Dwarfs, so I got out Katie's Snow White costume for her to wear, to match them in a picture :) The last time we went to Disneyland, Katie said to me "Don't tell them (the Princesses) that I don't have an autograph book, okay Mom?" like it was something to be ashamed of...haha. So, I decided that Character Day would be the perfect time to buy her first autograph book for her. She also picked out a pretty Princess pen!

 My Mom has always wanted one of these side profile pictures, so she bought one of Katie today, and it came with two so she gave one to me and kept one for herself. Katie posed very nicely while the lady cut out her face :p

 I hung it up in Katie's bedroom, it came out cute! Thanks Mom! :)

 I never expected so many characters to be together! I was very happy! :) Only Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum are really rare to see at Disneyland, the rest are always around it seems, but it was a great idea for them to group all the characters together for photos!

 Every time I go to Disneyland, Katie always wants to take a picture with this White Rabbit now! So funny!

 After Mommy got all the pictures she wanted, I let Katie pick rides to go on. She loves the tea cups!

 A new show Disneyland is doing, where they post 500 pictures from that day onto the Small World building. It was 10 minutes long, but honestly the pictures go by so fast, most people probably wouldn't recognize themselves fast enough.

 It was pretty though!

It was such a fun day! Thanks for going with me, Mom! I'm glad I have so many cute pictures of Katie! I hope they do this again next year!

Lite Brite

Katie was given a Lite Brite for Christmas by her Uncle Bobby & Christy, and today she played with it for the first time. She did a great job matching the colored pegs to the color initials on the paper. It was a little tricky for her to push the pins in hard enough to make the hole, but we had fun playing it together. She's a cute girl.

Chuck E. Cheese & Pizza

Desiree and I took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese to have something fun to do for the night. We ordered pizza and drinks and then let the kids go play.

 David was so proud that it was around his birthday, so he told all the workers it was his birthday and they gave him a sticker. He also had some free tokens e-mailed to him for turning 6! :)

 The kids split their tokens and played and played, they had about 50 each.

 I don't know why kids like climbing up these so much, haha.

The kids had a fun night, Chuck E. Cheese is always fun for Katie, she loves going =)

Mickey's Magic Show

For Christmas Desiree gave my Mom, Katie and I tickets to see Mickey's Magic Show. Since Samuel is young enough to be free, we asked if we could take him with us and she said yes :) The drive up I played wit him and he was cracking up. He's a cute kid. :)

 They didnt allow cameras inside so I took Katie's picture outside real quick before we went in.

                             After the show we went to have dinner at some place my Mom used to go to as a teenager. Bahooka.

                             

It was kinda cool inside. All Hawaiian-ish.

 Katie was coloring while she waited for her food to come.

 Katie ordered a punch and it came in a big fancy cup that made us think it was an alcoholic drink so we told them it wasn't ours. They looked confused and told us it was just punch, haha. Oops! :p

 After Samuel's Minestrone soup and banana, he had a good time slurping on the lollipop the waitress brought :)

 He had a fun day, I'm glad Desiree let us take him =)

It was such a fun day, the magic show was awesome. Katie's favorite part was when they turned Cinderella's rag clothes into her beautiful gown with her coach onstage and everything. It was so cute! I wish they would have let me bring a camera in though! Thanks for the tickets Desiree!
