Thankful For My Life

For Thanksgiving, I spent the day with my family, the thing I am most thankful for. We started off the day at my Grandma's house. Even my Uncle Tony came down this year, that was nice for my Grandma. Katie had fun playing with his two girls, too.

I'm embarrassed to say, I didn't recognize my cousin Melissa at first! Haha. I thought she was Joe's family or something! Eventually I realized it was her. I haven't seen her in years!

So happy David came with me =) I'm thankful he's out of the Army!

I'm thankful for my crazy Grandma, too!
And most importantly, I'm very thankful for this beautiful blessing God gave me. The light of my life!
After spending the first half of the day with my family, we headed over to David's family's house.

Katie discovered Perler beads today, thanks to Annabelle. She liked them a lot!
My husband is the biggest kid. But at least he's fun! He wrestled and played with the kids, and of course, he was the champion! Katie gave him a good run for his money, jumping all over him though! He did good!

Guess Who Lost A Car?

My car is officially a goner =/ I was taking Katie to school, just like any other morning, when my car started making a weird noise. A short few minutes later, and....I was pulling over on the side of the road, with a broken down car. It had no oil. Bummerrrr. Costs so much, it's not worth fixing. Guess I'm looking for a new car. Well, a new used car =/ Needless to say, Katie got to take the day off of school!

Riley's Apple Farm

We wanted to go to Riley's Farm to take some family photos and to have fun of course. But, it's closed on Sunday's. Except we didn't remember that until we drove all the way down there in Oak Glen. Luckily, Riley's Apple Farm right next door, IS open on Sunday's =) So not a total loss. Actually, I think I might like it better. Seems like there is more to do. Only, I wish they had a yummy restaurant too.

Rachel was going to be my photographer today =)
We made apple cider of course. Picked which apples we wanted.
 Crushed them.
 Squeezed all the juice out.
And stuck it in a gallon =)

They were selling Ho Cakes for $1. What's a Ho Cake? We had no idea. I tried to tell them it's "The Ho Thing" but no one bought that, haha. But my Mom and Rachel bought one, because they looked yummy on the grill.

I bought a few activities for Katie to do. Knife Throwing, Tomahawk throwing, and Archery. They were a little difficult for her, maybe next time when she's older.
We walked around to pose a bit.

Found a stage and Katie put a show on for us.
For dinner we stopped at The Elephant Bar. I love going to new places. Truly. And the menu here looked delicious, I didn't know what to choose! David ordered appetizers.

Fun day, fun night!

Joe's Is David's New Favorite

So, David really liked Joe's Crab Shack last time we went. So we went again. This time we brought Katie with us. They have a playground outside, so we let her play while we waited for the food to get to us.
David ordered a few drinks. A Hurricane something.
And a shark one, where they put red stuff in the shark, and then pour it in the blue drink like it's blood, and the waiter goes "ahhh!" and it's kinda funny.
Then afterwards we went to the Pro Bass Shop again, and Katie decided she would like one of these for Christmas please. lol

Thanks for reading my blog!
