We wanted to go to Riley's Farm to take some family photos and to have fun of course. But, it's closed on Sunday's. Except we didn't remember that until we drove all the way down there in Oak Glen. Luckily, Riley's Apple Farm right next door, IS open on Sunday's =) So not a total loss. Actually, I think I might like it better. Seems like there is more to do. Only, I wish they had a yummy restaurant too.
Rachel was going to be my photographer today =)
We made apple cider of course. Picked which apples we wanted.
Crushed them.
Squeezed all the juice out.
And stuck it in a gallon =)
They were selling Ho Cakes for $1. What's a Ho Cake? We had no idea. I tried to tell them it's "The Ho Thing" but no one bought that, haha. But my Mom and Rachel bought one, because they looked yummy on the grill.
I bought a few activities for Katie to do. Knife Throwing, Tomahawk throwing, and Archery. They were a little difficult for her, maybe next time when she's older.
We walked around to pose a bit.
Found a stage and Katie put a show on for us.
For dinner we stopped at The Elephant Bar. I love going to new places. Truly. And the menu here looked delicious, I didn't know what to choose! David ordered appetizers.
Fun day, fun night!
