Monster's University, El Capitan

My Aunt Mary gave Katie money for her birthday, to use towards tickets to see Monster's University at the El Capitan. Katie bought tickets, parking, and snacks. Perfect amount, thanks Mary!

The pre-show was so cute =)

I really enjoyed the movie, so cute to me. Katie started getting restless towards the end, and made me miss a few minutes to take her potty lol. I think it was more of a boy movie, she was a little disappointed to see that Boo wasn't in this one. David and I liked it though!

Korean BBQ

David likes Korean food, but he can't find any as good as what he had in South Korea. We keep trying places, but he says they're never as good. Tonight we went to Love's. The thing that makes me laugh is every Korean restaurant we go to, we have to cook the meat ourselves! Cool, but funny.

Amanda's Baby Shower

My friend Amanda from high school, is pregnant with her first child. A baby boy to be named Hunter. She invited Laura and me to her baby shower. Katie wanted to stay home, since I wasn't sure there would be any kids there for her to play with. Laura ended up bringing her daughter Emma. Oh well!
We played whoever could drink the punch out of the bottle faster, a tv character trivia game (that I won!), and measured her belly :p

She got some cute presents =)

28 weeks and 33 weeks! Girl and a boy!

Father's Day 2013

We celebrated Father's Day with the Wonser's, just like every year =) Lynn hosted, and we all went over there for dinner. Kelli and Karli made cute BBQ Father's Day cupcakes for everyone. Nice relaxing day for the Dads.

Early Father's Day Dinner

Since we go to David's family's every Father's Day, Katie asked if we could go to dinner the night before, "just us." So we took Daddy out for dinner at Outback Steakhouse the day before Father's Day. She brought the present she made for him at school and gave it to him over dinner. She even put on a fancy dress for him =)

Truly love my family. Is there anything better than a homemade present from your kids?

My Drytown Baby

I love spending the day at Drytown with Katie. It's so nice to be able to take her for an hour or two to get out of the house and to get her wiggles out.

 She's trying to float :p
Our deal is, for the most part, one snack or toy when we go places. Since Drytown doesn't really have toys, she always gets a snack. Today she chose to get a pretzel with cheese. She loves them.

Sky High Sports

David and I took Katie to Sky High Sports for her birthday today. I wanted to go yesterday on her birthday, but I had a party at work with the kids, and it was too busy to take the day off. So we went today, for the first time, and it was pretty cool. I couldn't jump really, being pregnant and all, but Katie and David did. It was a little frustrating for Katie when she would jump in the same square as David, because he is stronger and heavier, so she would fall down lol.
I think Katie went on this about 50 times, haha. She really liked it! It took her a few times to get the hang of it though. At first she didn't want to let go in time to fall, maybe a little nervous.
They wore themselves out so bad they downed a water bottle each in minutes! haha.

Pretty nice day with my family. I wish I could have jumped with them! Next time!

My Architects

Katie and David spent time together building this toy she got for her birthday from her Grandma Lynn. You build it high, and then let the marble roll down. They had a lot of fun with it =)

Katie's First Baseball Game

I won free tickets to see the Jethawks play from Katie's swim class. The bummer was they were for a Monday night, but I figured, they're free, it'll be fun, Katie's never been, and we don't have to stay until it ends. So we tried it. Rushed over after work and enjoyed ourselves!

The debit machine was broken, Katie almost didn't get her Dippin' Dots! Thankfully my Mom had cash!

Although Katie didn't watch the game too closely...lol, it was still tons of fun. She was acting silly and playing around, and she liked the little intermission game thingys they did. It was a fun night. Just bummed it had to be on a Monday, I had work the next day so we couldn't stay until it was over =/

For winning free tickets, it was an awesome night! =)

End Of The Year Carnival

Katie's school has an end of the year carnival each year (I believe) and this year was Katie's first. I was able to take time off work and go with her =) They all had a dress down day if you wear Hawaiian. I didn't really have much for Katie, so I bought a lei and improvised! :p

My co-worker's (Maria) husband was in the dunking booth. He is the PE teacher there for 1st grade and up.
They had some fun booths set up for the kids, and everything was free, including the snacks (popcorn, snow cones, nachos). Pretty cool.

You go around, and when the music stops, a number is called. If you're standing in front of the number that's called, you win a cupcake =) You get to play as long as you want, until you win!

Pretty fun day! Love being there for Katie.
