David and I picked up a Dora baby potty seat for Katie at Target. I'm going to try to start potty-training her. I think she might be ready. If she's not, that's fine too, but I'm going to give her the chance to try. She knows when she pee'd and she lets me know after. She really likes sitting on the toilet like a big girl. When she's sitting on it, I try turning the bath faucet on and see if it will make her go lol. Usually when it's bath time, as soon as I turn the water on, she pees! On my floor, in the tub, or in her diaper. 90% of the time! lol. So I put her up there and let her sit for a few minutes so she can get used to it. When I ask her if she's all done, she tells me no, and sits there a while longer. I'm glad she likes it...lol :p While she sits on it, she likes pointing out "Dora" "Boots" & "Backpack" on her seat :)

Forrest Griffin vs. Rashad Evans
We went to David's brother Peech's house to watch the fight. I believe Griffin and Evans were fighting, but I don't know for sure...I hate fights! How boring and sick to watch people beating each other up. I spent the night playing with Katie and Karli mostly. Everyone else watched the fight. David's Mom made tacos for everyone. Katie had fun playing with Karli and Travis. She brushed Karli's hair, and smacked her in the head a few times, lol. (Katie can be bratty :p)
She also decided she wanted Karli's barbie, and tried to take it from her lol.
Katie got a plate of food and sat down to eat for a while with everyone.
They were all watching the fight intently :p I guess it was a good one...
Katie is getting better and better at drinking from a cup. She hardly even spills any. I guess she's growing up :p
After the fight ended, David, his Dad, and brothers played pool in the garage. Karin put her kids to bed, and we closed the door so Katie had to stay in the garage with us, because she kept trying to wake up Karli and Travis, lol.
She tried finding ways to occupy her time. She even tried joining their game :p She ran around and around the pool table. She ran for the door to try to get in the house any time she saw someone open it. She was funny.
But towards the end of the night I think she was getting pretty frustrated not being able to get into the house. She whined pretty much the last half hour we were there, and I finally had to take her home to sleep :p

Mad Dog
Katie does this face, where she looks like she's mad at you, and it makes me laugh every time. Every time David sees her doing it, he asks her "Who you mad dogging?" and she starts laughing. She is such an adorable little funny chick :p

Merry Christmas!
This was the first year I didn't spend Christmas Day with my family. It made me kind of sad. But because we also have to see David's family for the holidays, my family thought it would be easier to spend Christmas Eve with them, and Christmas Day with David's, so we wouldn't be rushed going to both in one day. If I had known we were going to get together with David's family until later that night though, I would have preferred to have spent Christmas morning with my Mom and everyone :/ Instead on Christmas morning, I helped Katie open the toys she had gotten the night before. She loves her presents so much. She sits at her new Dora table every time she eats now, it's so cute! She gets her cup and her plate and eats like a big girl.
When David woke up, we opened the presents we bought Katie, and the ones we bought for each other. I let Katie open her stocking first. It was just filled with little things. Some candy, small toys, whatever could fit into her stocking, which isn't the biggest...I think her favorite thing that morning was her M&M candy. She thought the big plastic one it came in was real, and was getting mad she couldn't bite it. She is too silly :p
David had gotten Katie a toy band kit. It was a drum, and inside it had more instruments to play with. She started jamming as soon as I opened it for her. She's funny.
I also got David and iPod for Christmas, that he seems to like :p He decided to join the army, so I thought it could be something that he can take with him, that he can have fun with. I loved mine when I had one.
After presents we set up the Wow Wow Wubbzy comforter my Mom bought Katie for her crib. David took the railing off, so now it's sort of a bed instead of a crib. Katie was so surprised when she saw Wubbzy on her bed. I think she really likes it. She played on it and layed on it for a while, making me laugh. Now that she's not in a crib anymore, she usually crawls out of it when she wakes up early in the morning around 5 or 6 and crawls into bed with David and I for a few more hours. She's so funny. It's hard sleeping with her, she moves a lot! lol :p

Around 5:30 we headed over to David's family's for presents and dinner. The nice thing about David's family during holidays, is that they all eat at the table together. My family hasn't done that in...well, I can't remember when we did...lol
The girls spend the first few minutes at the house looking for presents with their names on them. Kids are so funny :p
Katie and I wore our matching shoes my Mom bought us.
While waiting to open presents and eat dinner, the kids entertained themselves with the adult boys played xbox and I ran around taking pictures with my new camera that I LOVE :) Katie played the piano for a bit, the girls got Karli's new Lite Brite out, then realized there were no batteries lol. Travis was playing with some legos and some trains.

The kids were finally able to open presents around 7:30. Katie got a lot of cute toys, clothes, a doll, a stroller for her doll, and Wubbzy :)

Travis liked opening his, especially when he started getting lots of trains. He loves trains! So of course he was excited to open 90% of his presents and see trains inside :p
Karli and Anabelle got pretty much the same things. Mostly High School Musical and Hannah Montana things. Also some snap beads they played with after opening them :p

The adults liked their presents too :) David's family is kind of big on drinking, so for Christmas, his brother got a subscription for 2 6-packs of a new kind of beer every month. Pretty cool if you like beer.
His brother Steve got a new video game. David and his brothers all love playing their xbox. David plays his almost everyday, so I'm sure Steven will love his game :)
David's Mom is going to be moving back to California for a year, because of her husband's job, so she got lots of things for her new apartment they're going to be moving in :)
I'm not really sure what David's Dad got...he kind of opened his presents behind everyone, by himself...lol :p
David got all gift cards if I can remember. But he also got the pleasure of opening Katie's presents for her, since she doesn't really know how yet :p These shoes are for Katie, not David :p Haha
David's brother Bobby gave his girlfriend a guitar. He's been teaching her how to play, so now she has her own to play on :)
Bobby got a shirt, some books, and some other things. I didn't get to see everyone open everythnig because it got a little crazy after a while, with everyone trying to open their presents at once :p
Jennifer got a filing cabinet and a new comforter for her bed.
When everyone was finished opening presents, the girls changed into the Hannah Montana costumes and Travis took some of his trains out of their boxes to play with until dinner was ready.

Finally it was time for dinner. David's Mom (Lynn) and his sister (Jennifer) spent hours cooking dinner for everyone. They made roast, cheesy mashed potatoes, asparagus, rolls, and salad.
When dinner was finished, I opened YouTube on Bobby's computer, and the girls danced to Hannah Montana songs on his bed. It was cute. Katie kept trying to join in, but she kept falling down instead :p
The night ended with my sweet little girl giving hugs goodbye to everyone.

It was a nice night. Katie had fun with her cousins and she loves her toys :) I can't wait for next Christmas. Hopefully Katie will understand a little better and have more fun opening presents :p
