Halloween, 2012

Katie didn't want to dress up as Blueberry Muffin again, so we pulled her Rapunzel dress out of her closet and let her go as Rapunzel instead. She even had the flower braid and a matching purple pumpkin pail, we were good to go! We just went down a few streets in our neighborhood, alone this year. Ashleigh and Anthony didn't join us, so it was a quiet Halloween. My Mom came, and David brought Jake along too.

Jake At The Dog Park

We decided to take Jake to the dog park, and let Katie play as well. I texted Ashleigh to see if the girls wanted to go too. My Mom had Katie's bike, so I texted her too, asking her to bring the bike with her. When we got there the girls started playing. I tried to take a picture of Madison, but she still hates me =/ I'll never know why, sad. She doesn't talk to me, barely looks at me, for years now. Bummer.

 David took Jake in the fence where the dogs are.

Kindergarten Harvest Party

Yes, I am the Mom that likes to go to every school event for Katie, big or small. They had a Harvest Party since they don't celebrate Halloween at Desert Christian, and luckily it was at 9am and I don't start work until 10, so I was able to go for about 45 mins =) I dressed her like a farmer so she wouldn't have to wear her polo, it was a dress down day IF you dressed up for the Harvest Party.

 The first activity was a coloring page.

 In the next classroom they glued scarecrows together.

 Katie finished early, so we were encouraged to pick a book to read while we waited  to move onto the next class.

 I wasn't going to be able to stay for this activity, bummerrr. They were each going to milk the cow, haha. So cute.

 The kids got their snacks out as I had to leave. I wish I could have stayed longer, but glad I got to go just the same. I love being able to be there for Katie. I love her so much.

What A Great Day!

Today is the day! Katie has a doctor's appointment to check her cast and hopefully take it off! AND, Disneyland tonight, for the Halloween Event! We brought Abby so Katie could have a friend to go with her. They took the day off school since we had to go to the doctor first before Disneyland. But first, hours of waiting to be called =/ My Mom brought her Kindle Fire and I loaded YouTube on my phone so they could watch cartoons, but they still got bored =/

 Goodbye stinky ol' cast! Good riddance!

 Katie deserves a treat for her special day of getting her cast off! When we got to Disneyland for Mickey's Halloween Party, I treated the girls. They picked a Mickey Marshmallow Pop.

 After the girls ate their snack, we changed them into their costumes. Abby was Belle and Katie picked Blueberry Muffin.

 We went on a few rides, took pictures with some characters.

 For dinner the kids ate turkey sandwiches, apples, and carrots, with chocolate milk.

 And for dessert, lots of candy was eaten.

 Before we left, I let the girls each choose 1 toy (under $20). Abby chose Bolt.

 Katie wanted Scully. She loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

I had a fun night at Disneyland with the girls and my Mom, and I am soooo happy Katie's cast is finally off =) Yay!!

Play Date With Jaren

Katie keeps asking and asking to see Jaren, so, I set up a play date for her. She got dressed up fancy.

Then they played and played and played.

And Camden just hung out with his Mommy. lol

These two kids crack me up. Glad they had a fun day together.

Stu Miller's Pumpkin Patch

Rachel invited us to go to the pumpkin patch, she was going to bring Leah too =) I bought Katie a new shirt and off we went!

 I was so happy Daddy decided to join us! =)
