It's my Mom's 43rd birthday! What are we doing? Driving to New Mexico for the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta! Katie and I got her present ready so we could give it to her later.
I designated Mary to be my entertainment during the long car ride.
Finally we stopped for lunch. Eating at gas stations for the 14 hour drive gets old. So does fast food.
Katie and I got my Mom a Kindle Fire so she could read books and go on Facebook too. I love my Kindle, and all mine does is have books, so I hope she likes this one!
Keep in mind I've been trapped in a car for 8 hours, lol. I'm not always this tore up :p
My yummy lunch!
It was a bit chilly out, so Katie brought her blankie and hid. I think she was tired and being trapped in the car is no fun at all, but, it will be fun once we get to New Mexico! We're supposed to get up at 5am tomorrow for the hot air balloons. Don't think we're getting to Albuquerque until late tonight. No sleep should be fun ;p Kidding! I'm too old to not like sleep, haha.
