Travis is 5!

We got invited to Travis' birthday party at his house. The invitation said to bring a swim suit, so Katie was excited.

They ended up ordering a water slide.

I love having David home, so much.

Grandma Lynn got him a bike!

I'm glad Travis liked the present we bought him. =)

Ice Cream Date

Snack time! We took Katie out for ice cream, just to have a special treat. They even had balloons.

Adam's A Little Older

We were able to go to David's best friend's house to celebrate his birthday while David was home.

They get very lovey with each other :p

BWW For Lunch

David's family likes spending time with him when he comes down too, of course. So we invited his Mom out to lunch with us. Buffalo Wild Wings, yum! I like that restaurants give crayons to the kids to play with, but I just wish that was enough to keep them entertained for more than 20 mins lol. Eating seems to take a little longer than that and Katie gets antsy!

Dad's Home! For a Bit..

Daddy's favorite place to eat is a Thai food place in Lancaster. So when he comes down to spend time with us from the Army, guess where we always go? :p Thankfully Katie likes it too, we usually always get the same thing, garlic beef and rice, so there's not much for her to not like.

Hopscotch, Swings, and Popsicles

The girls always have so much fun playing together, it makes me happy seeing them like that.

Gee Gee always has popsicles in the freezer for the kids.

Universal Studios, CA

Universals doesn't have a lot for kids to do, in my opinion, when they're younger, but we always have fun, and it's exciting to see the new things Katie gets to do the more she grows. Now that she's this tall, she can do a little more than last time. As we walk in, who do we see?
Dora! Katie's favorite. How exciting to meet her in real life!
Katie's tall enough for a new ride! Too bad she hated it. I can't blame her though, it was not on my list of top 20 either. It was too jerky for my bones.
So true.

They have a water area for kids to play in, and a ball area to shoot foam balls and carry them in buckets and slide them down tubes, and all kinds of fun things for the little ones to do.
I love Curious George.
My Mom ended up surprising the kids with gold coins to buy a special treat with.

Shrek in 4D
My Mom! Oh gosh, my Mom. The lady took her shoes off during the tram ride. Little did she know that King Kong would shake that shoe right off the tram ride. When it was over, and we were ready to get off, she noticed she only had 1 shoe left on the floor on the ride. Hm...now what's a girl to do?
She had to ask a worker if they can please go find her shoe for her. How embarrassing, haha. This lady sure gets herself into some pickles! The funniest part was when the worker came back with it, and even put it on her foot. Hahahaha.

We looked around in stores before leaving, so the kids could spend their money.

Of course the girl would pick candy as her special treat. lol

2 Years As A Wife

I love mail. I love mail from my husband even more.

Happy 2 year anniversary to us! I just wish he were here to kiss! I miss that boy! Can't wait until the Army part of our lives is over. I love him so much.

A Tour of the Town

The kids had a lot of fun with Mary pulling them around in the wagon.

Sprinklers, duck!

More please!
To make the walk extra fun, Mary tricked the kids and told them this house was haunted, and she dared them to go ring the doorbell. Brave Katie went for it! Then they ran back to the wagon to get out of there before the ghosts came! Little did they know the house was empty and for sale ;) Proud of my girl though!
Mary decided they deserved Slurpees for that, so we walked to 7/11.

What a fun little adventure for them =)

Thanks for reading my blog!
