Our Last Beach Day

Summer is ending! Living in California, one thing you have to do every summer, is hit the beach at least once! We made our way here before the weather gets too cold to come back for a while. There are so many beaches out here, but I think Seal Beach will always be my favorite.

Meet The 3rd Grade Teacher

Katie's going to 3rd grade! What!! We went to her new classroom for a meet and greet with her new teacher for the year and were able to see her desk and cubby and everything she'll be using for the year. I'm so proud of my baby. She is growing up way faster than I want her to, but she's doing it wonderfully! Here's to a great new school year!

We met Dad for lunch again and then I met up with my Mom and took the girls to enjoy a park day.

Water Balloons!

Last week of summer for Katie! So we got out the water balloons and let them have some fun! You can tell it was a lazy day by the way Katie is still in her jammies!

Blake's Back

Blake is home from the Army, and we all got together to visit him at my Grandma's house. Precious moments with family. 

Grandma Lynn's Birthday

We all got together at Jennifer's place to celebrate David's Mom's birthday. The cousins played together and had a great time. Grandma Lynn gave my baby boy a new toy, because it was a train. But Emma said wait, girls like trains too. So she'll just keep it company until he's old enough to use it, lol. It winds up and moves on its own, she loved it.

T-Swift!

Taylor Swift will always be my favorite. Thankfully my cousin loves her too, and goes to the concerts with me. I think I've been to all of her concerts but one, and I regret it totally! She puts on the best shows. Her bracelets that light up to the beat of her songs are awesome when you're looking out at the audience seeing them all light up together. Fun little addition! Thank you for all the fun times Lauryn. Love you forever.

The AV Fair

An annual trip we always do! The AV fair. Thankful for the $1 tickets my husband always gets for us. The older kids all got wristbands and had a great time together. Emma was too short to do much so I bought her a pony ride and she hung out in the kid area a bit too, without rides. She always has a good spirit about everything. The older kids wristbands gave them two free games and they each got a prize. I always let them pick out a treat before we leave too. Mine usually end up picking out ice cream. Even shivering, they'll eat it. That's devotion.
