Goodnight Katie

I finally bought batteries for Katie's new pillow that Mary bought her for Christmas. It's so pretty!

The Shooting Range

David wanted to take Katie to the shooting range and teach her how to shoot one of his guns, just for fun. At home, there is no way for her to access these guns, don't worry!!

The only problem was, David's brand new gun misfired and got Katie a little scratch in her arm. Her first time shooting a real gun didn't exactly turn out great. Just goes to show you to be super careful around guns, because even when you're trying to be safe, you can get hurt =/ She was a trooper though and did really good. David ended up firing off a few rounds himself while Katie and I watched from a distance. She did not like getting hurt today.

Katie's Friend Hannah

Katie was invited to another birthday party, this time it was at the Bounce Palace. A couple of her friends from school were there too. The Mom has two daughters, with birthdays in the same month, so she had the party for both of them, and invited their friends.

 A balloonist was hired to make balloons for each of the kids. As we walked in, they took Katie's balloon request, and when it was time for cake and presents, they handed them all out to the kids.

Claire's Birthday

Katie's friend from school, Claire, gave her an invitation to her birthday party. When we got there, we noticed none of the other kids from school came, so I'm glad we brought Katie. I was too embarrassed to take pictures at their house, since I was the only one there they didn't really know, so I just took a few with my cell phone instead, haha. I left the camera in my purse. The theme was La La Loopsie. Her Mom did a good job on the cupcakes, they came out so cute. Fun party.

Dare To Dream

Katie, David and I went to see Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream. Of course we brought enough money for snacks! Katie wanted a $15 snow cone. She picked the Rapunzel cup. The show had the stories of Tiana, Cinderella and Rapunzel. I think all three of us agreed that Rapunzel was our favorite,

Flying around on her hair, haha.

The lanterns are beautiful.

It was a beautiful show, I love the Disney shows, they always do such a great job. Even David admitted he likes them too ;p

Joe's With Adam

My Mom watched Katie for us while we went to Joe's Crab Shack with Adam and his friend. It was a nice night out together. I love spending time with David =)

So Excited I Could BURST!

A few months ago I bought a bunch of cheap pregnancy tests off eBay, 25 for $5, because David is out of the Army now, so we finally have more time than 2 weeks to try for a baby. We've been trying, but since I never see him...kind of hard to do! I don't wait until the right time to take the test, I just pull one from the pile when I feel bored. It's always negative. It bums me out every time. But today, after I got off work, I decided to take one, and it said YES! I ran to David and jumped up and down, I was so excited!! I took another one, just to be sure, and then took one everyday that week, just to make sure it still said positive. I'm sooo happy!! Now I want to think of a cute way to tell our families =)

Katie's Cake Pops

Katie and I made our first cake pops with the new kit she got for Christmas. For our first time, I think they came out good! They sure are tasty!
