The Smallest Snow Shower

We had a tiny bit of snow falling today, but, that's a big deal in Southern California since it doesn't happen often, so Katie decided she needed her umbrella to go grocery shopping with me. Too cute.

How A Dragon Brushes His Teeth

We had a Dental office come to our school today to teach the kids about brushing their teeth. My class combined with Katie's so they would only have to do the presentation once. She brought a dragon to show the kids how to brush.

 At the end they were all given a turn to show her how to brush your teeth the right way, and given a goodie bag with a toothbrush and stickers. I know it's just a simple thing, but I like being able to be there with Katie for these things. Cute.

A Perfect Day For A Bike Ride

Vince's Mega Pizza

We went to Vince's Pizza in Lancaster (since Palmdale doesn't have the arcade!) with my Grandma, Becky, and Lauryn. We ordered the mega pizza, and geez was it huge! Wasn't expecting that at all! Got drinks and pizza for $25 that we split. Good deal.

 Then of course Katie wanted to play. And the regular arcade tokens are not good enough for my girl, she needs the bumper car tokens too, lol. She has so much fun on these! So cute.

6pm Is Making Me Sad

I truly hate getting off at 6pm every night. I feel like as soon as Katie and I get home, all we have time for is dinner and getting ready for bed =/ Hopefully it will change one day. Hard on me. It's already dark out when I get off. Sucks.

Desert Christian's Auction Night 2012

Every year, Desert Christian Schools has an auction night you can buy tickets to, and bid on things. Every classroom is required to make something, and you can also donate/make things as well. I wanted to buy the item Katie's class worked on, but I wasn't able to make it to the auction this year, so I asked Rachel to bid on it for me, as long as it wasn't too much money. She won the garden bag for me for only $15 =) I was excited. Until I got it and asked Katie which part she worked on. She told me she didn't do any of it =/ Bummer. Oh well, still cute.

Madison's 3rd Birthday!

For Madison's 3rd birthday, her parents threw a Dora party at Gee Gee's house.

Mary hired a face painter to come. The kids all turned into pretty fairies, they were each given a pair of wings and a tutu.

Anthony's birthday was yesterday, so Mary bought him a small cake too, and added some scratchers for him.

The kids went back in the bounce house, they loved it.

Chocolate Drizzled Dessert

Every time I go to Olive, I swear these things beg me to order them. I finally gave in today, and got some for us to share for dessert.

 You NEED to drizzle chocolate on! So yummy!!

 Then I think some people got a sugar high going on, because we were cracking up taking pictures of ourselves :p This one might have been one of the best from the night. So funny.

Olive is so yummy, and dessert is even better!!

Mary's Birthday Dinner At Don Cuco's

We went to one of Mary's favorite restaurants for her birthday this year. Don Cuco's in Acton, because the one in town is just not as good. Most of the family was able to come too, so that's even better.

Nice night out with family =) Hope Mary had a nice birthday!

Katie's First Valentine Party

Katie woke up to presents from Mommy and Daddy on Valentine's Day. (Sorry the blinds are ruining my photos =/ )

 David sent this for Katie in the mail. So sweet of him if you ask me!

 We made little baggies of candy and toys for her class, and bought chocolate apples for her teachers.
