David's Uncle's 80th Birthday

Today we went down to Glendale for David's Great Uncle's birthday. It was held at the Elk Lodge. We were late getting there because David barely told me I had to wear dress clothes about an hour before we had to leave. So David picked me up from my Mom's where I was hanging out and took me to Kohl's. I bought a new dress, shoes, tights, and headband (although I'm taking the shoes back tomorrow, the back wasn't staying on! My shoes were coming off constantly all night!) After we got to Glendale we couldn't find the place for anything. It was kind of hidden behind the parking lot, with big iron gates around, but no sign :/ When we did finally get there, we felt a little better to learn that the rest of David's family got lost too, lol. They had food set out for everyone and an open bar for anyone who wanted to drink. The entertainer was weird, but funny lol. He kept doing impressions and singing weird and stuff haha. A couple kids went up and sang Happy Birthday and a couple sang "I've Got You Babe." People were dancing on the floor, and the kids (Karli, Travis, and Katie) were too. It was cute. I got some video of it. When I went to get Katie off the dance floor, the entertainer asked who the Mom was, and Karin was next to me and pointed me out. He tried to get me to go up there and sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" for "Katie" lol. I was too shy, and walked back to the table with Katie, when the guy told me in the mic "Don't worry, I won't put you in the spotlight" and then shined me real bright with a flashlight laughing. So embarrassing! Haha. It was a fun night. Katie got a piece of cake and was happy :) I filled her sippy with cranberry juice (that's all the bartender had :/ ) and we started our trip home. I am so tired now! I hope he had a nice birthday :)

Chuck E Cheese

Today Desiree and I took Katie and David to Chuck E Cheese. We were bored and wanted to get out of the house. On the ride there (and back) the kids danced to Desiree's Rascal Flatt's CD in the car. They were so funny. It was a fun time. When we got there I bought us a pizza and Desiree got us cokes. After we ate we let the kids play on the rides/games. David l0ved playing. He played Air Hockey with me and I won and he got so mad he started whining, it was so funny! I have a few videos from today but it takes too long to post them. He played an Alien Skee Ball game that was taunting him and telling him "Throw harder," "Ask someone for help," and "na na na na na." When it told him to ask for help, he really asked me to help him haha. It was cute. He found one game he liked the most and played about 3 or 4 times, He won 133 tickets and bought a balloon, 2 mini lollipops (one for him and one for Katie), and 1 Laffy Taffy. A New Park

My Mom found a new small park to go to. My Mom, Mary, Blake, Dave Dave, Katie, and I went today. They have bbq things there too, they want to go back soon to cook and play. When we got there Blake took Katie on some slides. She liked it a lot! She kept smiling so cute :) David was running around with some girls, playing tag for the first time. He had fun! He is so funny when he talks to other kids. He asked the girls "Do you like my Dora shoes?" And that brat told him no! lol. Later David pushed one of the girls down, and that chick socked him back! Kids these days are crazy! lol. Mary showed a hill to David and they spent the next half hour climbing up and running down. Mary tried to take Katie up there, but I was too scared! It was steep, Mary had to hold her balance too, while David tried to run her off at full speed lol. After the hill two new girls came, and they were nice to David. They wanted to played tag too. That must be the cool game of that playground lol. David was counting to 10 and tagging them until they got too tired and needed a rest for a few minutes. David has so much energy! Katie was trying to follow them and run with them, but she was way slower haha. It was a relaxing day at the park, but it was getting boring and dark towards the end. We could barely see the kids after a while lol. We decided to go home then, it was already 8. Katie was so tired when we got home all she did was whine! I gave her a bath and milk, and then rocked and rocked and rocked and rocked her. She didn't want to sleep! She FINALLY did, but goodness I'm tired :/

Antelope Valley Fair

My Mom, David, and I took Katie to the fair on Sunday. We went at 5 so it wouldn't be TOO hot and miserable. It was a special day so we had to pay $15 to get in, but we got a wristband with it. (We'd rather have paid the $8 and not gone on rides! lol). It was still fun though. When we got there we took Katie to see the animals. I think she liked the goats the best. She smiled and tried to pet them haha. It was hotter than I'd like, but it was still fun. I like the fair. I try and go every year. I think Katie had fun too. After the animals, we found a place where kids could draw on paper with markers, so we let Katie try lol. Then we found a kid's spot where they had a sandbox full of corn kernels that she liked a lot. We played there for a bit, then we took her on a pony ride ($7 :/ ) lol. I'm not sure she knew what to think of it though. There's a video of her on it on my Mom's Blog if you want to take a look. After the pony ride we took her on some real rides. We were too cheap to pay $15 to get Katie a wristband, so I just gave her mine that I ripped off in 10 minutes because it was too tight lol. (Yes, Katie needed a wristband to get on the rides) They only had 3 or 4 rides she could get on as it was, so I wasn't going to spend more money for that. David took her on the merry-g0-round and a train. It was cute watching her go on the rides like a big girl, and watching her spend time with her Daddy :p After Katie went on those 2 rides, Anthony and Ashleigh brought Hannah. We stayed a little longer so the girls could play together. By this time it was 9 and we were tired! We took the kids back to the corn so Hannah could play too. Then we went to see the animals again, but Hannah was scared of them. It was cute. Katie was falling asleep by this time, so we put her in the stroller to sleep and Ashleigh bought Hannah a snow cone while we watched a hypnotist show. After that we all went home. It was after 10 and I was yawning. Fun day for me though. I can't wait til next year when Katie can actually ride more rides.

Katie & Drowsy In Their Carseats

My Aunt Mary bought Katie a small dolly carseat a few days ago for Katie to play with, and my Mom set it up next to Katie's carseat in my car and put her baby Drowsy in it lol. Now they ride together in my back seat like friends. I had to take a picture, it was cute lol.

Rainbow Bar & Grill

My cousin Anthony took me out to dinner for my 21st birthday at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in LA. (No, it's not a gay bar lol. That's what I thought when he told me the name! haha) I won't get into the drama that happened on here though (lol). The night started out fun. Anthony, Ashleigh, and Daniel came to pick David and I up from my Mom's. Mary and my Mom watched Katie and Hannah while we went. It was a fun night. We got there and ordered our food and went upstairs after, to the bar and small dance floor. (No, I didn't drink!) Anthony and David were the only 2 on the dance floor, so they did their thing lol. Daniel and Anthony tried doing the "Robot" too haha. Ashleigh and I just laughed at them. They're nuts. We are too shy and embarrassed to dance lol. The boys sure had fun though! Thanks for taking me you guys! It was a fun place to hang out at for a night. I never go anywhere that isn't fun for a 1 year old lol. Too bad the night had to turn bad at the end :/

Happy Birthday To Me!

Yesterday was my 21st birthday. During the day I went to my Grams' house and hung out until 5:30, bored. Desiree did Katie's hair real cute with ribbons to match her dress. She looked like a little princess! :) At 6 my family had a small party for me at my Mom's house. She made tacos (yum!) & rice. We just sat around talking and hanging out most of the time. The kids all played with each other, it was adorable. They played in the balls and on the slides, they were too cute! Katie and Hannah gave each other kisses, I tried to catch a picture of it. I love watching them grow up! I hope they always stay so sweet :) My Mom bought me a yummy Cold Stone cake, I looooved it haha. After we ate cake we went back outside to watch the kids play some more. My Mom, Mary, Ashley, and the 3 kids played Ring Around the Rosie and the kids liked it a lot! We tried playing London Bridges, but David got upset when he got caught so we ended that game lol. He's a funny kid! Of course in the middle of everything going on, we took pictures! haha. Ashley and I posed with Katie, of course I took pictures of the kids playing together, and some other random ones :) It was a nice relaxing day. I got season passes for David and I for SeaWorld, a gas card to get there, and money :) My Mom gave me a bag full on cash haha. She's funny. My Mom, Mary, Blake, Ashleigh, Hannah, and Alea stayed the latest just sitting around. We were playing with the kids and Ashleigh stuck 2 balls in Hannah's shirt, it looked like she had boobies, it was too cute haha. I love all 3 of the kids :) Thanks everyone for my presents! And thanks for coming Mom, Mary, Grams, Desiree, Dave Dave, David, Blake, Ashley, Ashleigh, Hannah, Alea, Debbie, Jorge. See you at SeaWorld next month :p (Most of the people there have season passes so we're gonna go together.) I can't wait! :) We'll have lots of cute pictures of the 3 kids together :)

$30 Later, Katie Has A Cute Room

Yesterday my family came over to help me finish all my unpacking (yes, I STILL had boxes in my place) to help clean my apartment up a bit, and to decorate Katie's new room. The apt looks a lot better now. No more boxes and bags in my hallway. Katie's room is cute. My Mom bought these sticker things for the walls, and brought over the cabinet thing she painted, and got some pink boxes for her closet, to put her bows, socks, shoes, and stuff in. It came out good. Now all I have to do is buy more hangers! My clothes are in buckets right now :/ I bought 50 hangers for Katie, and 50 for me, and we only eliminated one bucket :/ I still have 2 more to hang up. BLAH. I need to go buy more :( Thanks Mom, Mary, Desiree, Blake, and David (lol) for coming over!
