All Out of Batteries

I actually dragged my lazy butt out of bed at 6 am on Saturday to go to yard sales with my Mom and Aunt. I wasn't going to go, but at 6:09 Katie woke up, so I figured if I was going to have to wake up anyway, might as well go with them lol. My Mom bought me a frap and gave me $15 to buy stuff for Katie. The first hour we didn't find much at all! They were fighting over the lack of sales and the cost of gas haha. But then we started finding baby stuff. I found books for Katie, animal crackers, a Rice Krispy Treat (for me lol), she got some outfits from Mary and my Mom, I got her a Baby Einstein DVD that she likes, I think lol. And a push toy that pops up little balls and counts to 10. (Thanks Mary) Katie likes that toy! She doesn't know how to push it, so she pulls it along with her instead lol. She's so funny. After the yard sales we went to Katz and Jammer's for breakfast. Katie shared everyone's food. She smiled real big and pretended she wanted us to hold her, only to try to reach for our food when she got to us haha. It was a fun morning, I GUESS it was worth waking up early for lol. (But I was soooo tired by the time I went to bed that night!) By the time we got home Katie was tired and cranky. I left my Mom's to put her to bed at home, but she wasn't falling asleep so I let her play more. Eventually, in the middle of taking my batteries out of the remote control and trying to put them back in, like it was a fun puzzle, she knocked out right there on the floor and slept for an hour, before getting up, crawling a few feet, and then knocking back out for another hour LOL. She must have been beat!
