See You Later...

My friend Katherine is moving to Washington with her husband and daughter, since the Navy stationed him there. She'll be coming back to visit when he goes on the ships for deployment, but it still sucks that she had to move. I'll miss her :) We went out to eat at Red Robin one last time together.

Poppy Festival, 2010

Ashley asked me if I wanted to go to the Poppy Festival with her, and of course I did! :p Katie had a great time! I'm glad we went!

She got to play in a small airplane they had there :)

I bought her tickets for a few rides. She liked them!

She wanted to play this game so bad after seeing the Princess' on some of the bags. She was bummed she didn't get to keep the bag, but she did like the Slinky she won haha.

Katie's first time getting her face painted. She picked a bee :p She made me hold her hand, like it was painful or scary or something, haha. She's so cute!!  They had a few animals there to look at. Katie held a turtle for like 2 seconds, yuckie!

I bought her a ride on a camel, pretty cool I thought!

She loves fire trucks, and she thought she was the coolest climbing in one.Fun day!

Hannah's Disneyland Birthday

My Mom, Mary, Hannah, Katie and I celebrated Hannah's 3rd birthday at Disneyland. She had a small meltdown because she didn't want to wear her birthday button.
(She didn't want to stand up, haha)

My Mom and Mary try to get me to go in the Tiki Room with them every time we go to Disneyland. I told them to just go while I wait outside with Katie who was sleeping. They didn't remember how lousy it was I guess. They said it was so boring.

Christy's Birthday

We went to Bobby and Christy's house for her birthday with the whole family. Lynn brought surprises for the kids again. The older girls got shells and the younger kids got crayons and a coloring book. They all had a big discussion about whether Michael looks like Anthony Michael Hall from the Breakfast Club. They're watching videos of him on YouTube.

Katie adores this dog, but she was convinced he wanted to eat her popcorn :pOpening her presents.

She takes her dog to training classes. He's doing pretty good.
