Crazy Hair Day

Katie had Crazy Hair Day at church and my Mom did her hair cute =) I hope it counts as crazy too, haha.

 Katie loved it! It was so colorful and pretty with a touch of glitter! =)

Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens

I found a pretty garden place and I wanted to go! I thought it would make for some pretty pictures of my beautiful girl. She picked a beautiful dress to wear and she was excited to see all the flowers.

After the garden, we went to have dinner at Islands.

The pictures came out really cute, but gosh Katie was pretty bratty! I think I should have brought a stroller for her. I can only assume she was tired and it made her cranky. I had a fun day though, and the flowers were so pretty, I'm glad I got my Mom and Mary to go with me. Can't forget to mention Mary dragged Blake into the mix and he wanted to go home!!! Haha. Other than that, we had a nice day :p

Philippe's

My cousin Anthony dragged me to this new food place Philippe's in Los Angeles. It has sandwiches that they dip in some sauce and then your bread's all wet. But the chocolate pie was really yummy!

 Katie barely picked at her food but she sure liked her apple juice!

 Katie had such a great time with her cousins, she loves when she gets to see them!

 They had all this old baseball stuff there.

 Who knows what Boob was doing.

It was a fun night, but from now on, I perfer my sandwiches to be dry, not wet, lol.

The New Chuck E. Cheese

I took Katie to the new Chuck E. Cheese they have in Lancaster. It's only about 3 buildings down from the old one. It's a lot bigger though and there are lots more games for the kids to play.

 I won the jackpot on the Operation game =)

 She actually made it in a few times!

 She asked for an ice cream for the car ride home and she picked the Weight Watchers ice cream that she loves so much! Haha.

It was a fun day, I'm glad we went! I love spending time with Katie =)

Steven's Birthday =)

Steven chose to have his birthday at Pizza Hut. Katie dressed in a new birthday outfit =)

 After dinner, everyone went to David's Dad's house for cake and presents. The kids played together and Katie played the guitar with Bobby in her rock band :p

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa

We went to go visit Katie's Grandma and Grandpa for a bit and Katie was coloring with them.

 Katie had picked out a fake bug at the store earlier, and she kept scaring David's Dad with it, haha. The first and second time she really scared him, and then he was just pretending to make her happy, lol. She had a fun night =)

Ice Cream Complete!

Katie's Paint-A-Dream project was finished so we went to go pick it up! It came out pretty, Katie liked it a lot =)

14 Hours Never Seemed So Long

We woke up very early to get on the road back to Palmdale. Sam woke up the earliest of all the kids.

 He got Katie to have a conversation with him....lol.

 Then Katie decided she needed more sleep. Sam didn't like that much...he harassed her into being awake with him :p

 We all got dressed and Mary, Katie and I got ready to leave.

Mary and I tried to take Katie on the ski lift on the way home, but it was closed for the season, so that was a waste of 30 mins =/

 Mary stops at EVERY gas station, haha. We went to one of the little Indian shops and Katie picked out a necklace.

It was such a long ride home! I slept for a few hours, and it still didn't seem to help pass the time. The stop at Cracker Barrel probably didn't help our time schedule, lol. It was yummy food though! Katie was great during the ride again though, I never would have expected her to do so well! Thank goodness for her video game is all I have to say! Haha.

Our Day in New Mexico

We went around the base and Desiree showed us David's new school.

 Then we found a park to take the kids to. But geez was it ghetto. There was broken glass in the sand.

 The kids had a good time though, and that's what's important. After the park we went to the movies to see Rango. Mary and Katie fell asleep for a bit, but David liked the movie, lol.

 After the movie we went back to Desiree's house and made tacos for dinner.

 Before bed, we played with shadows on the wall...haha.

These people all go to bed at 8pm, add that to the time difference, and you'll know how hard it was for Katie and me to go to bed that early!!
