Katie's Cubbie Certificate

Instead of class tonight for Katie, they had an award's ceremony for doing their memory verses and getting their points.
Katie missed a few classes, but still went to most, but they only gave her this participation certificate. Kind of a bummer.

Cubbie Graduate

Every Wednesday (or at least most of them), my Mom takes Katie to church with her, and Katie goes into the kid's program "Awana", Katie's class at Awana is "Cubbies" based on her age group. When she says her memory verse, she gets a patch. This week they did an award ceremony for the kids, so that they can go to the next highest class when summer is over. Well, after summer, Katie's age would put her right back into Cubbies for another year. But it's still exciting to be on stage, right?

Katie was given this little cub to attach to her vest for the next year. She was excited.
Good job on remembering your memory verses, Katie!

A Drive-In At Church

In Katie's class at church, they were each supposed to make a cardboard car to sit in while the teachers played a movie for them--CARS. My Mom made Katie's car, it came out so cute!
She made the license say "Katie Wonser" creatively...haha.

Katie loved it! It was so colorful and pretty with a touch of glitter! =)

Katie Got Her Church Vest

Katie finally got her uniform/vest for her church class. I asked her if I could take her picture in it, and this is what she gave me...haha. She's silly, but I love her. (Her pants are muddy from playing after class)

Parent's Night at Church

They had Parent's Night at Katie's church class, Awana. She was good in class, surprisingly quiet! Maybe that's because I was there watching her though :p
The last section of the class they always do a small craft. They made trees with tissue paper. You were supposed to roll it into a ball, but Katie just glued the flat squares on as leaves :p

Thanks for reading my blog!
