Knott's & Mostly Disneyland

Mary, my Mom, and I were bored so we took David and Katie with us to get our picture taken for our Knott's Berry Farm season pass. The kids played with Mary while we waited in line. Of course they had to chase the roosters too.
David was so mad and embarrassed to be in a pink stroller lol. Then he started acting silly like a baby sucking his thumb :p
After Knott's, we decided to go to Disneyland since it was only 10 minutes away. My Mom bought a season pass :) We made it just in time to see the parade at California Adventure. It was a pixar parade with Toy Story, Nemo, the Incredibles, Cars, and Monsters Inc. Very cute.

Lots of bubbles began to fall down during the second half.

Mary wanted us to go on the big ferris wheel, because they had all gotten sick in them when they went for David's birthday, and she was cracking up, trying to get us sick too I think! But I was smarter and went for a cage that didn't swing you silly and we did fine, enjoying the view :)

My poor Mom. After the ferris wheel we went over to Disneyland. Getting off the Jungle Cruise, my Mom's shoe fell into the water between the boat and the dock. The workers had to move the boat and try to get her shoe out. We were cracking up of course, only our luck. They offered to buy her new shoes, but she said no thanks and stuck the soaked shoe back on her foot. Then they made variations to the "Pants on the Ground" song. "Shoe in the water, shoe in the water, lookin' like a fool with your shoe in the water."Of course our luck kept up. Mary wanted to go on Winnie the Pooh because it's her favorite ride, and as soon as we get in line, it breaks down. lololol.

We decided to go on the cars next, Autopia.

Katie had a good time driving :)

We saw Mickey and Minnie on our way out and the kids waited in line to take a picture with them.

Before leaving the park, we went inside some building...they had lots of models and pictures inside of the park and of the Disney movies.The map of Disneyland.

David knocked out as soon as we walked out of the exit.

Fun day, I love Disneyland :)

Disneyland Thursday

Another Disneyland day :) Woody and Jessie took my daughter and shoo'd me away. They tried to keep her :p

We left Disneyland on the monorail to get some Jamba, but first, Katie saw the Lego store and ran in to build.

Yum!

Katie liked the Nemo ride.

She was a little scared of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

And of course, Casey Jr. again.

After getting out of the bath, Katie put her Minnie hat on, and asked me "Dontcha wanna take my picture?" and smiled. She is so cute :)

Happy 5th Birthday David Robert!

David went to Disneyland with his family a few days before his 5th birthday, and then ended up being sick on his actual birthday, so Katie and I just dropped his present off to him the next day, on his way to visit Mary.

I hope you like your game David, I know you wanted it! :)

Katherine's Baby Shower

My friend Katherine is having a baby girl (Isavella Jane Harmon) and Katie and I went to her baby shower :) They had a dog in the backyard, and Katie spent most of her time back there with a few other kids, playing fetch and chasing the dog around haha. Shame on Katherine for drinking soda!

Smelling the diaper with candy mushed in, trying to guess which chocolate bar it is. 4 of us had a tie, so we played "Rock Paper Scissors" and I lost :(

Everyone kept wrapping the measuring tape around themselves trying to guess how big Katherine's tummy is now. Teresa won :)

Since the Daddy is in the Navy, someone bought this cute little sailor outfit.

Katherine and Shannon (her sister) cracked me up. They were arguing over the tissue paper and bags, each keeping the ones they wanted. Apparently, Shannon is known to reuse the same bag over and over and over.

Katie asked me for cake since the minute we arrived haha.

She finally got a piece of cake, she was so happy!

So...I didn't win. But, Teresa won, and she doesn't like Starbucks, so she gave it to me :)

Disneyland Thursday

Katie and I spent the day mostly at California Adventure. Katie hadn't been there in a long time, we usually stick to just Disneyland. I took her on the rides and she had a fun time. We also planned to have lunch with the Princess'. Fun day for us, I'm glad we're about to go :) While waiting for our lunch reservation, Katie made friends. She was dancing with this little girl for a bit.

Katie sure meets a lot of friends haha. I think she was jealous of her pretty Sleeping Beauty dress :/ She stared at it an awful lot...We went to eat lunch at Ariel's Grotto. It's lunch with all the Princess', they come walk around the room and greet your kids and talk to them for a few minutes. Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle are supposedto be there, but Belle called in sick or something so they brought Mulan in for the kids.

The appetizer plates. They gave us 3. Salad, watermelon, jello with strawberries in it, bread and butter, olives, cheese, all kinds of things.

We stayed to watch a short show, with people singing about drawing the characters to make the movie, and then the 3 characters came out to take pictures with the kids.

Take a second to look back at the Cinderella from the restaurant....she looks so different just an hour later! :p It's like she's a whole different person...haha.

Um...yes...this is my kid... *embarrassed smile* lol.Katie was chosen to dance in the dance parade down main street :) She was also was given a Minnie drum after, but I couldn't hold her and take a picture :p

I changed her into warm pj's when it got cold and we went on a few more rides.

We had such a fun time together :)
