It's A Girl!

David and I went for the sonogram make up today. We went 2 weeks ago and the baby wasn't moving too much so they couldn't get too many pictures. The cd she gave me was empty too, so I don't have any of those saved to my computer =/ She did print a few out for us though, and I do have those. Katie went with us the first time, but since she didn't seem too interested, we went without her this time, while she was at school. The lady told us last time that she thinks it's a girl. This time she confirmed it. We're going to have another daughter =) We wanted a son, just to experience both genders as parents, but I love this little girl so much already, it doesn't even matter. She is so precious and beautiful.
Apparently, these 3 dots are proof she's a girl.
 Snuggling.
I couldn't hold back my sneeze, and when I did it, she gave us this expression. Haha. Not sure if she's shocked, or smiling, but oh so cute!
I have a small gender reveal planned for tomorrow, so I can let everyone know the gender. Until then, this is a secret! Only David and I know =)

What A Great Day!

Today is the day! Katie has a doctor's appointment to check her cast and hopefully take it off! AND, Disneyland tonight, for the Halloween Event! We brought Abby so Katie could have a friend to go with her. They took the day off school since we had to go to the doctor first before Disneyland. But first, hours of waiting to be called =/ My Mom brought her Kindle Fire and I loaded YouTube on my phone so they could watch cartoons, but they still got bored =/
 YES!!!!!!!!!!!
Goodbye stinky ol' cast! Good riddance!
Katie deserves a treat for her special day of getting her cast off! When we got to Disneyland for Mickey's Halloween Party, I treated the girls. They picked a Mickey Marshmallow Pop.
After the girls ate their snack, we changed them into their costumes. Abby was Belle and Katie picked Blueberry Muffin.
Racing the cars they built in front of the Lego store.
 Time to go inside!
We went on a few rides, took pictures with some characters.
For dinner the kids ate turkey sandwiches, apples, and carrots, with chocolate milk.
And for dessert, lots of candy was eaten.

Before we left, I let the girls each choose 1 toy (under $20). Abby chose Bolt.
Katie wanted Scully. She loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
I had a fun night at Disneyland with the girls and my Mom, and I am soooo happy Katie's cast is finally off =) Yay!!

My Fractured Kid

So I was at work, minding my own business, when the phone rings and it's for me. That never happens. No one calls me at work. It's Katie's school on the phone. My heart stops for a second, what could be wrong? Well...my poor girl is in the health office. She tripped on a door stop and her arm hurts. I told my boss I need to go, but she made me wait 15 minutes, so she could grab another teacher to cover for me in my classroom. As soon as she let me go, I was out the door! I called my Mom on the way and she met me at Katie's school. She was crying when I got there, it was so sad. We took her to the doctor, and after they took x-rays they sent us to another doctor because they don't have access to everything at this small hospital.

The first doctor gave her a sling to wear until we got to the next doctor. At the second one, they gave her a cast and she wore the sling over the cast. They told me that it wasn't broken, but it looks like there's a small fracture, and better to be safe than sorry, so the cast would have to stay on for a few weeks. Bummer! My poor baby. I bet next time she'll look where she's walking =/ Hopefully these next few weeks go by fast for her and this cast isn't too much of a problem. I don't like when my baby is hurt =(

My Brave Girl

Katie went to the doctors to catch up on her shots. She now only needs 1 left in 6-12 months. Then she doesn't need any more until school starts! (They also made her pee in a cup and give blood. Did they realize she's only 3?! I didn't expect all that going in!) They happened to have a Panda Pillow Pet in the room. She's been wanting one of those Pillow Pets since she saw the commercial.
She was able to choose 3 stickers for being brave. She put a Cinderella sticker on herself, a Sleeping Beauty one on me, and this Ariel one on the nurse! Haha.
When we got home, Katie got a package from her Daddy.
It was a....Puppy Pillow Pet! Coincidence? :p Cool beans!

Playing Doctor

Melissa needed a child volunteer to come into her school and "play doctor." She checked Katie's height, weight, heartbeat, things like that. It took forever and Katie was starting to get impatient, but we made it to the end and Melissa got a good grade :)

Thanks for reading my blog!
