Happy Birthday Annabelle!

Today we celebrated Annabelle's birthday at Shakey's Pizza. (Annabelle is David's brother Bobby's girlfriend's daughter.) I believe she turned 7 years old. She is a very sweet girl and Katie loves her so much!
When we got there I bought tokens for the machines so David, Katie, and I could play. David's Dad ended up giving him some, so I used mine for Katie and I, and gave some to Annabelle since it was her birthday. Katie followed Annabelle around as much as she could. She even gave her a hug at one point, it was so cute. She likes her a lot! lol. There was a fun jump rope game there that Annabelle was really good at!
She kept winning more and more tickets from it. At one point she won 300 from it at once. I tried it when no one was looking at lost! Haha! It's a fun game for girls though :p If I was younger and not embarrassed to be a 21 year old playing it, I would have spent more tokens on it LOL.David spent the majority of his time playing with Travis and Karli. Katie had her Mommy though. We played the games for a little while until the food was ready. Katie loved walking around and pushing buttons on all the machines. I tried to teach her how to put the tokens in and play some, but she's only interested for so long lol.Karli tried to play the jumprope game too, but only won the minimum tickets. No one was as good at it as Annabelle was today! I don't know how she did it. A man tried to cheat and lifted his daughter when the light came around, but I guess it knew he was cheating since she was off the machine for wayyy longer than a "jump" and it got them out on the first try lol. Smart machine :pWhen the food came everyone went to get some. The kids didn't WANT to, because they wanted to keep playing, but they sat for a few minutes and ate some pizza. Katie ate maybe 3 bites before climbing off her chair and heading back for the game room. And of course I had to follow her so I didn't get much to eat either. David's friend was working there so he got David and I free sodas, so that was nice :) Saved me $3 :p
After eating, Katie went to go check out what was so good about the jump rope game. She doesn't quite know how to "jump" yet, so she was kind of just rocking back and forth on her tip toes. She is so funny. While she did that she said "jump! jump!" She's adorable :)Whenever the kids would get a good amount of tickets, they would put them in the machine to unload them and get a receipt with how many they have. Karin was showing Karli how to do it when Travis stuck his tickets in the slot the receipt comes out of and Karin had to flag down a worker for help lol. By the time the kids were done playing they each had about 4 or 5 receipts to take to the prize counter lol.Katie didn't quite get what the tickets were for, but she liked when she got them after a game. She would hold onto them for a little bit, then when she got bored with them she'd either hand them to me or leave them on the floor, lol. Then I'd have to pick them up real quick and stick them in my pocket for later :pBesides the jump rope game, I think Katie liked this one the best. It was like a spinning wheel and what ever number it landed on, that's how many tickets you get. You start out by pulling the lever to get the wheel to spin. She loooved doing that and pulled it many times! I let her play a couple times and get tickets, but mostly she just kept pulling it without really playing it.After you pull the lever you hit the button to stop the wheel from spinning. Katie was just tall enough to reach it. This game was easy for her and she liked watching the tickets come out. Plus it would light up and make noise when she finished, so that's always cool for kids :pNext it was time for cake. Annabelle's Mom (Christy) made the cake herself. She did a good job! The theme was High School Musical, the Disney movie and the kids like right now. The picture I took it upside down, so it really doesn't do it justice, so just take my word for it, it was cute! I would never have been able to make a cute cake like that myself!Karli bought that tiara with her tickets. Annabelle got one too, but she didn't feel like wearing it just yet. This picture makes me laugh because Karli is trying to horde in on the birthday lol. It looks like it's her birthday here, and not Annabelle's :p

Make a wish!Katie only ate a few bites of cake, because again, she wanted to go play some more. The girls only ate a few bites themselves, also heading to the game room. I ate my piece and thought it was yum :)When all the tokens were finally gone, it was time for presents. She got a lot of cute things. Mostly Hannah Montana and High School Musical. She got HSM shoes, a HM guitar for like a kids Guitar Hero game, clothes, beads, HM jewelery. Cute things.I bought her a Hannah Montana jewelery box. She seemed to like it. Well, she seemed to like the necklace, bracelet, and earrings I taped to the box the most lol. I'm not sure about the actual box :p But I'm glad she liked what I bought, I never know what to get people lol. It's hard picking the right thing, it's hard to know what others want :p
It was a fun afternoon. Katie had lots of fun, I know that! She got pizza, cake, and games, she was set! I'm glad they invited us :) I had never been to that Shakey's before, it just opened not too long ago. The only one we have in Palmdale is cheap with a tiny cheap arcade, they doesn't even give tickets and prizes :p
