Friday Fun

My Aunt Mary is off work every other Friday for her RDO (Regular Day Off) at work. It just so happens I couldn't get a job, there weren't any available :/ So when Katie woke up at 8:30, I called Mary to ask her what she was doing. She said she was at Wal-Mart, so I gave Katie a bath and got her dressed and we went to meet her in the toy section of the store. When we got there, David had his cart full of toys. Katie started playing with the toys on the shelves as soon as she got down.Mary let David out of the cart too. He immediately ran straight for a video game bike thing. It was big box, and pretty heavy, and also cost $100. Mary told him it was too expensive, but he insisted! He pulled it off the shelf and tried carrying it by himself. He got a few steps before whining that it was too heavy. So Mary put it in her cart, and David in mine so we could go to more departments. I kept David behind with me for a minute, looking at more toys, while Mary got that thing out of her cart and hid it away from him, lol. He never noticed it was gone.
We went to the fish section and looked at them for a bit. Then we went to the bath stuff and Mary bought each of the kids some color tablets that changes the water to a different color, some bubble bath (Dora for Katie, I think Mickey for David), and she bought Katie some bath finger paint. After that we went home before David could find anything else he wanted lol.
After we left Wal-Mart I went to Mary's house so she could drop her car off and we went to KFC in my car. She bought food for us and the kids played Peek-A-Boo with the table lol. It was fun. Katie got messy with the mac n cheese and got her outfit dirty. But she had fun and ate her yummies.
When we finished eating we went back to Mary's and the kids played with the paint she had just bought for David. She set them up on a kids table in her kitchen and they played together for a bit. After some spilled on one of her rugs she got the kids out of there, in case they stepped in it and got it all over her new carpet in her house.
She gave them a bath and dressed Katie in an outfit that was supposed to be for Christmas...lol. She does that a lot :p She read some books to Katie, and then David wanted to play "marbles" with his bouncy balls. Mary tried to teach him how, but he did not like the fact that Katie kept trying to pick all the balls up, and the game ended quickly, lol.Katie and I went home at 1:30 when Mary had to go pick up Blake from school. It was a fun morning, thank you Mary for everything you bought Katie :) She had a fun bath before she went to bed :)
