Christmas Eve

We did Christmas Eve at my Mom's house this year. She made turkey, asparagus, mashed potatoes, yummy foods. We were opening all our presents together after dinner. This is the first year we've done it on Christmas Eve, but it was still fun :p I went to Desiree's house early and she did my hair cute, with ribbon and curls.
When she finished I went to my Mom's house to hang out until everyone got there. While I was waiting, she gave Katie a nap so she would be fresh when everyone came. As Katie was sleeping, my Mom gave me a Christmas present early. My camera! After I played with it for a bit, Desiree came over, and my Mom made me hide it because she didn't want Desiree to know she got one. I don't know how she would have figured that out just because I had gotten one, but I put it away anyway. When Mary came she gave Desiree hers, and I was able to get mine out :)My Mom decorated her house with Christmas decorations and balloons, and of course, with all the presents we bought. It came out cute :) The kids loved the balloons a lot! David liked them the most! He kept playing with them until it was finally time to open the presents. He grabbed one, then all, then let them go and did it again haha. He had fun with them :p
We took a couple pictures by the tree. Hannah was dressed cute for Christmas :) While waiting to open presents the kids played Ring-Around-the-Rosie with Mary. Katie loves this game, she thinks it's so fun to fall down :pKatie was being sweet all night. She loves to give hugs. Hannah ran from her sometimes, which was funny to watch, but Katie is persistent and she finally caught her :pDavid was finally able to open presents. He had been carrying his present in SpongeBob wrapping for days showing it off to everyone. He was excited when we told him he could open it, he didn't believe us at first, then got real happy when he realized we were serious, haha.My Mom gave me the new Britney Spears & Taylor Swift CD's. I LOVE Taylor Swift :)Katie started getting into the whole present thing for a little while, after she saw that there were things inside the wrapping paper :p But it didn't last long, and she soon wandered around the house looking for things to play with and eating a candy cane.Hannah loves Yo Gabba Gabba. That's what most of her presents were. Yo Gabba Gabba toys. This was a dance mat she got, that I'm sure she will rock out on, since she dances oh-s0-cute :)The kids got a LOT of toys! They got spoiled this year, with so many cute presents. Katie got toys, a baby stroller, lots of clothes and pajama's, she's set for a while :) I'm glad she got new toys and clothes, it helps me a lot and it's fun watching her play with her new things :)We all got Flips for Christmas; Desiree, Anthony, Blake, and I. Blake's had a skateboard on it, the rest of ours had our kids on them. They came out really cute :) They come in so handy when you want to record something real quick, I have 3 DVD's of Katie already, with the one I got for Christmas last year. I'm so thankful to have her memories saved for her :)Mary got the iPod she has been wanting for a while now. It's pretty and pink :)My Mom bought Katie and I matching pink VANS. They're cute when we wear them together :)Katie gave me her first painting for Christmas. I think it's so cute. I'm going to hang it up in her room. Such a cute idea, thanks Mom :)My Mom bought me a ticket to see the Britney Spears concert in April with Desiree and Mary. The tickets didn't come in the mail yet, so she printed me something letting me know that she bought it for me :pDavid was impatient waiting for his turn to open more presents. He is so funny, he cracks me up. He's the only kid that actually understood Christmas, it was fun watching him open everything. He got so excited at his cool new things.Hannah got a Yo Gabba Gabba dancing doll, she loved it SO much! It was so funny watching her dance to it! She really got into it, shaking her whole body over and over! I was cracking up at her, too cute!Katie looked like a pretty princess in her dress. I bouight it at Gottschalks a few weeks ago. I love how she looked in it :) Desiree did her hair cute to match, so she was adorable :)I think she watches me with my camera and Flip too much, because here she is copying me :pBlake got a new guitar for Christmas, totally cool :) I believe his Mom is paying for him to take lessons to learn how to play. The night ended with the kids trying out Katie's new roller coaster. Hannah got one to take home too, and David got a big kid one for his house. I'm sure he loves his! Katie sure likes hers. She was a little nervous her first time going on it, but now she likes it a lot :) She even sits on the car to watch tv at my Mom's haha. It's fun for a kid.It was a fun night, thanks for all our presents everyone! I'm glad I get to spend the holidays with my family every year. Katie is so close to them and she loves them all so much :) Hope everyone else had a fun night too :)
