9 Month Check Up

Today Katie went for her 9 month appointment. A little late, I know (She'll be 10 months in a few days), but it was the earliest appointment they had, so I took it! We went in and didn't even have to wait 10 minutes, thank goodness for appointments! lol. The nurse asked me the normal questions, does she pull herself up, does she drink formula, does she babble, etc and then we went to have her weighed. Since I had her weighed last week when I thought she had an ear infection, I already knew she'd weigh 20lbs. She weighs 20 lbs 6 oz and is 29 1/2 inches tall. She's growing so fast :) She didn't need any shots, so I was glad for that! I asked the doctor to check her ears for an ear infection just to ease my mind, and Katie doesn't have one. Happy about that. I will always be worried about that lol. So everything went pretty good. Katie was even good while we were there, and she didn't even have toys to distract her. She did a good job! I wish I had taken pictures of her in the doctor's office, but since I just loaded pics last night, the camera wasn't in the diaper bag where I usually keep it. Bummer. We don't go back until she is a year old.
