My Mom, Katie, and I went to the Los Angeles Zoo. It was kind of boring, but fun at the same time. It was nice to get out of the house, but I think Katie might still be too little haha. All she wanted to do while we were there was push her pink car around! She didn't care for the animals too much, but that might be because it was so crowded we could barely get a good spot to see them :/ As soon as we got there my Mom bought Katie a cute zoo shirt, and a sippy cup, since the zoo doesn't have straws (it's bad for the animals) and she had no way to drink her juice. She slurped it down right away!
Of course the first thing everyone does when they get there, is look at the flamingos. They're the closest thing to the entrance :p Katie actually liked the flamingos, but he left after a few minutes to look for more animals.
We saw flamingos, goats, elephants, gorillas, zebras, giraffes. It was a nice day. I just wish it wasn't so hot or crowded. Plus we kept getting lost in a maze and couldn't find the elephants for the longest time! haha.

After a while Katie needed another juice break. She was tired from pushing her car all over and "driving" into people :/ She's trouble!
We went to stop by the fountain for one last picture and headed for exit. I think for now on we'll stick to the Santa Barbara zoo we went to a couple months back. It wasn't crowded and it was a lot nicer! Plus it has that super fun hill the kids love sliding down!
The zoo and the Autry museum are in the same parking lot, so we were going to take a look around there after the zoo.
But basically it just looked too boring, and the thought of taking Katie into a quiet museum didn't seem too thrilling. So we found a small grass area and just hung out for an hour watching Katie play. She loves sticks lately for some reason, and she got so happy when she found so many!
She tried hitting the trees with the sticks for some reason. I always wonder where she comes up with her ideas, but I guess no one will ever be able to read what's in a child's mind when they're so little. It was so nice just watching her play. After a few minutes she took a diaper and her wipes out of her car trunk and brought them to me so I could change her. She is so darn cute. Then she went right back to playing of course!
She found the horse trail fascinating for some reason, and kept going to it. She was peeking through the fence though, and cracking up because she could see us through the fence holes haha. She's such a nerd.
On the way back to the car we found some "wishes" and I tried to show her how to blow them, but the poor girl couldn't do it strong enough and she hardly blew any off. Instead it got in her mouth, and she did not like it! Yuck! So funny though, I was cracking up. She's such a funny girl to me!

We stopped in Acton on the way home and ate at Don Cuco's for dinner. Good day!
