AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! lol.
We got up at 4am today to drive to LAX (thanks Mary!) and caught our flight at 6:45. Then we waited until 7:10 when the plane took off. Katie was getting rascally. Yikes. The lady in front of my Mom decides she wants to relax, and lays her seat down, right into my Mom's lap. LOL. My Mom didn't have 1 inch to move. Too funny. She told the lady, excuse me I don't have room lol. Cracked me up all day. Katie fell asleep about 30 minutes into the trip, after take off and all that. Thank goodness. She slept through the first plane ride.
Of course with my luck, my window seat lead to the plane's big wing. LOL. Blocked my view a lot, but still fun. (Even though I got plane sick?)
Around 12:36pm (Central time, 2 hrs ahead of Palmdale) we landed in Memphis, Tennessee. We only had an hour so we went to eat real quick. My Mom bought a doughy pizza for $12 and I got a cheeseburger, fries, and a coke for $8. I think I got the better deal on this one. LOL. We were the only ones taking pictures in the airport, I felt nerdy haha. But I wasn't gonna miss out on my pictures! :p

We went back on the plane and Katie immediately started pulling all the papers and throw up bag out. They were "MINE" according to her. Then when the flight attendant came by, she got her 2nd juice baba to calm her down and let it be a peaceful ride. People stole seats on this plane. Not ours, but the girls made a big deal out of it for 10 minutes and had to sit apart from each other, because people took their seats to be close to their friends, and wouldn't move LOL. I called Mary to update her on where we were, and my Mom snapped a picture of me. So Mary, that's you I'm talking to lol.

Finally, at 4:30 (3 hours later than Palmdale, so 1:30 Palmdale time), we landed in Charlotte, North Carolina. We landed here because it was a $200 difference in each ticket if we went to Columbia, South Carolina where the graduation is.
We went to get a rental car from Budget and went to go find the Columbia airport so we could pick up David's Mom Lynn, (an hour and a half away from our airport, but on the way to see David). We got L-O-S-T. We finally made it there at 7pm. We stopped on the way and ate at BoJangles, a fast food joint that was kind of like KFC but tons of spices.
After we got Lynn, we got L-O-S-T again. Could not find her hotel for the life of us. Took us until 9pm, when it was only 19.2 miles from the airport :/ It was hidden. Seriously. We had to call twice to ask them where they're located. It was miserable. We're tired. We finally got to our hotel at 9:30 and watched the last bit of American Idol and are now ready to call it a night. Soooo tired and worn out. Katie must be too, she's been sitting all day, cooped up, and when we finally got to the hotel, she started walking around with my laptop cover on her head.
We're tired. My Mom gave her a bath and now we're ready for B-E-D. Going to Family Day tomorrow at 8:30am.

The funniest part is Katie with your laptop cover on her head.
