Lazy T Ranch & Up!

My Mom found a cute little petting zoo to take the kids, about 10 minutes from Palmdale. When we got there, the lady was walking out of her house with her daughter and purse. They were heading to town, so they told us they were closed, so that they could leave. (Isn't this a business? Can you close whenever you want with no warning?) The lady asked my Mom if she had e-mailed her to let her know we were coming. My Mom told her "yes, I e-mailed you a few days ago" to which the lady said "Oh, I haven't checked my mail in a while, I just got back from vacation. (So that's how many days they were closed without any warning? And while we're on the subject...what business doesn't check their e-mail for more than 4 days?) To make matters worse, their "petting zoo" was a few small cages in their front yard, so the kids all saw the animals, and knew they were supposed to be able to go play with them. The kids cried when we got back in the car. And I mean, CRIED. To be fair, the lady did say she would give us a quick tour before she left (at $5 a head. She was about to go shopping you know.) When we turned her down, she gave Mary a coupon for 1 free person to come in, and asked us to come back tomorrow (Do YOU think we went back the next day?)
After driving around searching for animals, due to Katie crying "Animals!" through her sad tears. We ended up at some little place called Lazy T Ranch. They had horses at least, so that was able to satisfy Katie. Boring and hot as heck if you ask me, but the kids had fun, til they begged for juice and water.
Kiss! (I love Hannah's face..haha. Who you lookin' at horse? You better stay where you are!)
This "swing" is supposed to make you feel the same effect as riding a horse...Hannah and Hannah. (The kids there followed us around like stray dogs. Maybe they were bored and neglected. Don't ask me where their parents were, didn't see 1 adult the whole time we were there.)
Good thing we had quarters on us. This ride had me cracking up, because it went soo darn long. Halfway through their rides, David and Katie each begged for help off haha.
Poor little Hannah was too scared to sit on the swing, but the other kids are...wild..haha.
We took the kids to see Up! at the theater. It was a cute movie. David and Hannah had already seen it before, but they still had fun. Katie did a good job sitting through it, she loves movies :p They had popcorn, licorice, and orange juice during the movie, they're little piggies :p
