The Gentle Barn

The Gentle Barn is a cute place that helps abused animals. They take them in and take care of them. It cost $5 to get in, and you can stay until they close. You're allowed to pet every animal and can feed carrots to the horses for $1 per bag. The kids each got a bag and it lasted them over an hour.

Katie was more brave than most adults there. Everyone was being very careful to feed the horses with their palms up, so the horse won't accidently bite them I guess. Katie stuck half her hand in the horse's mouth while shoving a carrot in there for them haha. She's so funny. Every time she fed a horse, she'd crack up and tell me "He likes it!" lol. If the horse was too high to reach her carrot, she would tell the horse "Go here!" and pat the lower bar. Some listened. Sometimes I had to pick her up so they could reach her. Funny.
Goats are vicious and will steal your carrots, and headbutt you if you don't give them one. Poor David experienced that today.
Llama's don't like carrots. And they're shy. Pigs are lazy. And don't move at all.
The kids were allowed to brush the cows.
This picture cracked me up lol.
