The Great Balloon Park

What a da
What a day! We drove 2 hours to go to The Great Balloon Park, where they have a giant balloon that takes 30 people at a time up 400 feet for free! Sounded cool, so we wanted to try it! We called before leaving the house to make sure it was open for the day. They also run it at night too, I read people go on dates there a lot, but the lines get really long.
When we got there, all the electricity in the whole park went out!! Just our luck!!
Thank goodness they also had a playground there, so we didn't drive for no reason. Katie still had a fun time.

There was also a Farmer's Market that gave out lots of samples. I snuck a picture of some strangers enjoying themselves with the oranges haha.
My Mom paid $6 for a small bag of nuts.
Mary paid $5 for an Ariel (The Little Mermaid) balloon....yikes!! Katie really liked it though, so that's what counts I guess!

They also had a free carousel there for the kids. What a fun park! =)

The bike rack was pretty cool looking...shaped like a bike :p
We had a fun day, but I really wish we could have gotten on the balloon! That's the reason I drove down there in the first place. What a bummer to find out the electricity went out! Still had a nice day out though!
