Drytown Morning, Jethawk Night

Katie's Girl Scout Troop signed up for the Jethawk's Sleepover. But first, Drytown!

It happened to be Princess Night at the Jethawks, the same night as the sleepover. The girls were encouraged to wear Princess dresses, but Katie just wanted to be comfy. Emma wore her Elsa dress and was so excited to meet the Princesses. She was shy and happy at the same time, and it was so cute to watch.

Fireworks to Disney songs. Perfect night for the girls.
When the baseball game ended, we were all kicked out while they cleaned up real quick and got ready for the Girl Scouts.
About 30-40 minutes later, they opened the gates back up, and allowed us to set our tents up. They handed out snacks and showed a movie before bedtime. Each girl was also given a patch for their vests.
Emma was so happy to be included and part of the group. The movie lasted so long. I think it ended about midnight. Lots of tired parents haha.
I will tell you one thing. Sleeping on the hard ground while pregnant, is something I hope to never do again. I was so uncomfortable all night long. I could hardly sleep. I kept moving and moving trying not to take Emma. It was a rough night. When we go camping later this month, I'm gonna need something to sleep on, or I'm going to die. lol. They served breakfast, eggs, toast, fruit, bacon, sausage, and then everyone headed home. Pretty cool Girl Scout event. I didn't spend the night last year, because I didn't know it was a family event and that I could bring Emma. I left when the movie had started, so I was glad to be included this time. Even though I was too pregnant to fully enjoy it.

Katie was so tired from the sleepover, that she napped as soon as we got home.
