Santa Monica Beach

I was bored and wanted to get out of the house, so I decided to take Katie to the beach. I thought it would be too cold for the water, so I didn't bring bathing suits or anything, and just went to Santa Monica. My Mom kept calling me to "make sure I didn't forget her" even though I never invited her....lol. It was a fun day, Katie had a lot of fun. When we got there I bought her a ride on the Merry-Go-Round.

When we got off, I asked her "Do you want to go on some (more) rides now?" She said yes and ran right for the cheap 50 cent rides...LOL. So I let her go on some. Whatever, lol. After that we went to go eat at a Mexican restaurant that my Mom never wants to go to again haha. Not very good for the price. While waiting for them to call us, we wandered around the pier a bit, and soon Katie began dancing to the music people were playing. She's so funny. I chased her up and down and all around that pier lol. I must have gone up 50 stairs today with her. I don't know why she likes stairs so much, but she does. After we ate we headed for the water, since it turned out to be a lot warmer than I expected. It was getting pretty hot out. We spent the rest of the time in the water. She loved it and had a blast! I want to go again next week. to Seal Beach since it's cleaner, with bathing suits this time. My Mom has to work, but I'm hoping my Aunt Mary will come with us.
