David, Katie, Steve, and I went to visit Lynn. She stayed in Palmdale for a few nights after the wedding so we ended up driving her back home and spent the day there with her. Her house is pretty.
We had to take the ferry to get across to the town.
We found a restaurant to eat in. It was sooooo hot there, I was miserable the first few hours until it cooled down. I hate the hot muggy beach weather, makes my hair tore up, lol. I got out of the booth to take a picture, and Katie saw that as her opportunity to run out, but David stopped her and she got sad she didn't get to escape :p
After we ate Lynn bought Katie a ride on the Merry-Go-Round :) 
After that we took the ferry back to Lynn's side so we could go to the beach and start dinner.
While Lynn did some last minute shopping we took Katie to a small park area they had. She insisted 1 side of the slide was too hot and only went down the right side.
Lynn had some beach toys in her garage and Katie had fun playing with them :)
Katie liked the water but she really wanted that blue boat, it was just a few feet out of her reach.
On our way back to the house Katie found a dog. She liked the dog up until the point where it licked her face, then she was done lol.
For dinner we had David's favorite, Fettucine. It was a nice day (when it cooled down! lol), I'm glad we were able to go spend the day together :)
