Katie and David have been harassing me for a dog. I do not like dogs. I do not want one in my backyard, I want to be able to go out there without being sniffed or jumped on. But they really want one. So I caved and told David as long as it doesn't come in the house, we'll get a dog. David wanted to rescue one from the pound so we all drove down together. We let Katie pick the dog she wanted. I tried to persuade her to get a cute tiny little pup, but she really wanted this black Lab.
They let us go in a small fenced area to see if we got along with the dog before buying it. David and Katie liked him, so we paid for him and waited to pick him up in a few days after they gave him his shots and everything.
