An Elf came to live with Katie. She came with a book, that tells all about her visit, called "The Elf on the Shelf." Katie was able to choose a name for her, which is Sparkle. Apparently, Sparkle is here to watch Katie and report back to Santa about the bad and good choices she makes. Sparkle also does things at night while we sleep. She gets bored when she's not busy watching Katie. Sometimes she does nice things, and apparently, sometimes she does naughty things. Like tonight, when she tp'd our Christmas tree. Hmmm. Sparkle leaves on Christmas Day. Lets see how the last few days go, hopefully she comes earlier next year, on Dec. 1 like they're supposed to :p Because she sure seems fun!
