Santa Barbara Zoo & Santa Barbara Beach!

David, Katie, Oscar, Lauryn and I went to the Santa Barbara Zoo, because you can feed the giraffes there. Unfortunately, the feeding stopped as we got there! So we went to look at the animals.

The children's playground had a cool hill you can slide down. Katie liked it! She wanted to stay and play rather than go see the animals.
We put some quarters in the machine and bought some fish food. They came up to the top to eat it, kind of cool!

 I love my weirdo family!

 Group picture!

We had a fun time at the zoo, it wasn't too big and it wasn't too small. We had enough time to see almost everything, and the only thing I had to buy was a lollipop ;) Not too bad!
After the zoo, we saw that the beach was just down the street! We just HAD to stop!!

Super cool sunset picture ;)

Lauryn & I wrote all our nanes in the sand :p
Then we were life guards :p
The beach was fun, we went for the pictures, I'm not gonna lie! Haha. They came out cute :) Afterwards we had dinner at Arby's and then went home! Super fun day with my favorite people!

Finger Paint Gets More Than Your Fingers Painted

Last time we saw Lynn, she gave Katie some finger paint and paper. It started out innocently enough...
Then she got crazy with it!
David and I rushed her to the bathtub before she could get it on any of the furniture or carpet. She turned the water blue :p

The Gentle Barn

We took Katie and Annabelle to the Gentle Barn to see the animals. It was a little hot out, but not too bad.
After we paid admission, we bought the girls a bag of carrots each, to feed to the horses.

After feeding the horses, we walked up the stairs to the other animals in the petting zoo area.
It was all going fine, until a turkey bit Katie =/ She cried for a little bit and then decided that was a mean turkey! She stayed away from him for the rest of the day.
Then, a horse ate Annabelle's sleeve! It was kind of funny, but I'm glad her jacket didn't get ruined! He was trying to snag the carrots in her hand, but missed.
They had an area set up where you took a picture hugging a cow, and then they gave you a bracelet saying "I hugged a cow at the Gentle Barn." Kind of neat. The girls both got one.
There's an empty well there, that I say is cute for pictures! :p

I had a fun time with the girls, I'm glad Bobby and Christy let us take Annabelle, Katie likes to have friends to play with when we go places. It was a fun afternoon.

Disneyland & Daddy

My Mom bought Katie this pretty dress to wear to Disneyland :) David went with us this time, hooray for Daddy being home! :) I got his lazy butt up at 9 and we left!
We went to Bug's Land first, just because we never go there and Lauryn said they have fun bumper cars...But first Katie wanted to go on this swing thing...haha

Katie didn't know how to steer, so she didn't really "bump" anyone :p
Yes, my husband is very Goofy....

This photographer was harrassing our lives!!! He kept making us pose a bunch of different ways and wouldn't let us leave!!! We were cracking up after!

 We found Jasmine :)

 Katie loves the Haunted Mansion!
 Mary Poppins
I didn't know Mary Poppins and the Mad Hatter were friends, but they were hanging out together! :p
Katie's favorite place is always the Princess Faire. She loves to take pictures with them and show them her beautiful dresses.
Katie always makes me go to Toontown so she can ride the "Crazy Taxi" (Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin)

Time to go home! It was such a fun day, Katie loved having David there with us! We got on so many rides and the weather was nice! Thanks for coming with me and taking pictures for me Lauryn! I love you!!!

New Shoes & Dinner

David wanted to get some new shoes while he was home. We went to the mall and both got a pair. After that we went to get some food. David wanted to go eat at Red Robin, he missed all the food places in California a lot...haha.

This picture cracks me up, Katie's face is priceless. The waitress brought mine and David's drink out first, and not hers. Her eyes popped out of their sockets when she realized she didn't get her chocolate milk! I don't know why they always bring out the drinks for the adults first, that always bugs me! They should bring the kids their drinks first! Every restaurant does this for some reason I noticed.
After we ate, Katie had to "tight rope" like she does every time we go to the mall!

It was a nice day with my family! :)

Bedtime Stories

David took my place reading Katie a story before bed while he was home. It was cute to watch them together =) Katie has a big book of Disney stories, and she likes to pick 2 to read each night. This was his first night home with us!

Thanks for reading my blog!
