Katie's First Haircut

I took Katie to Shears by Friends for her first official haircut. Same place she went to when she got it styled for dance class. She did so good! I've seen pictures of me crying getting mine cut, so I talked to her about it and got her mindset ready before we went.

 Just a few inches off, nothing drastic. Just to be fresh and even =)

 The hair salon even gave me this cool certificate and a little baggie with a lock of her hair in it. Pretty neat, I didn't know places did that for you.

Good job, Katie! I'm proud of you for being brave!

New Scarf & Hat

The cleaning crew at my work come every night about 5:30 and start cleaning the classroom next door. They always say hi to me in my room, and today the lady gave Katie a scarf and hat that she made for her. I thought that was so sweet of her =)

Pictures For Grandma

Katie and I wore our matching shirts and took the tripod to the park to try to get a cute picture to give my Mom for Valentine's Day. Hannah and Madison met us there so Katie could play afterwards.

 Some of our poses were Katie's idea...haha.

Tripod and Remote

My Mom bought me a bounce flash for my camera for Christmas, and a remote. I looked on eBay and found a tripod for twenty bucks! Good deal I thought. I just need a simple one, I'm not a professional or anything! I went to my Grandma's and harassed everyone into letting me test my new equipment out. It's not the best quality, I'm learning here. But cool that I actually got to be in the picture thanks to my remote! ;p

Izzy's Bouncy Birthday

Katie and I went to the Jump Palace for Izzy's birthday. Katie had a blast!

 She was being so silly in the bounce houses! She's so funny to me.

 After the kids played for an hour, it was time to go inside the party room for cake and presents.

 Katie and I bought Rapunzel stickers for Izzy's wall in her room.

 I'm sure I say this a million times, but I love this girl. SO very much.

I Love Party City

Katie and I stopped at the store after work today. Party City has so many funny things to play with. I like taking Katie there. Hilarious. She always thinks she's so cool when I let her pick out those little candies for a dollar. She gets 15 pieces for that price, and she always chooses carefully. :p
