Happy New Year!

For New Years David and I didn't have any plans so we decided to hang out with his family. They all went to Karin & Peech's house for dinner. Katie was trying to play with Karli and Annabelle, but they didn't really want to play with her. They wanted to play big girl games, like painting and coloring, and growing magic rocks. So when Travis finally woke up, Katie was happy! She loves playing in his room. He has lots of cars and trains and Katie loves them. He even has a Thomas the Train tent that she goes in with him. Kids are so cute. Katie and Travis ate soup when Travis bugged his Mom for food, and then they went back to playing. They couldn't wait for the food I guess lol :p David's Mom gave all the kids a "surprise" like she usua;y does, and they played with them. Karli and Annabelle got Hannah Montana stickers and stuff, and Katie and Travis got an octogon crayon with a different color on each point. Kind of cool, but Katie kept trying to eat her crayon :/ We ate dinner at 11:30, then the boys went back to playing xbox and pool, like they had been doing ALL NIGHT! lol. At midnight everyone did cheers with their champagne (I had sparkling grape juice :p). It was a pretty relaxing night, I'm glad Katie was able to have fun, and David was able to spend time with his family before he leaves. After Karin put her kids to bed and Annabelle went home, Katie was bored. Her Aunt Jennifer was trying to keep her occupied, but Katie was bored and tired so we went home soon after that. Lets hope that 2009 will be a good, fun, year even with David gone :/
