Once a year or so, a small carnival comes to the VONS parking lot. Katie saw it while driving by, so I let her go on a few rides.
It's nice to be able to let her have some fun when we can. I know that with me working now, it's getting pretty tough for her. We used to be home together all day, she got out of school at 11. Now I work until 6pm. Makes me sad. But at least she's allowed to come to work with me. Which isn't completely a good thing since it also makes me sad that she's at "school" all day, even if I am able to be there with her.
