I took a week off work to go visit David in Washington. My Mom came with me for the long 20 hour drive. And of course my best girl came to visit her Daddy too.
We decided to leave early and stop at a park in Sacramento my Mom had found online months ago and has wanted to go to since. We stopped at Togo's for lunch to refuel, and then let Katie out of the car to play for an hour or two and stretch her legs.
It was a fun park, I'm pretty sure Katie had a blast playing on everything. It was good to be able to get out of the car for a while after hours and hours of driving. We even got to see the State Capital.
My Mom was in love with how beautiful the neighborhoods looked in the Fall.
We were so happy to finally see the hotel at the end of the day.
Thankfully it didn't start snowing until it started getting dark out, so it was just in time to find a hotel so we could sleep until the snow was done falling.
