Wednesday Night Movie Night

Another summer Wednesday, another evening in the park. Movie, snow cone, cute kids, glow sticks. Just living the good life.

Better Late Than Never

So I have a photo of my Dad and I when I was a baby, in a sailor dress, and a few years ago, David surprised me for Mother's Day by recreating the photo with Katie. Well, I realized we never got a chance to do that with Emma, and time was running out for her to fit in that dress. We might be a few months later than I took these photos or when Katie took these photos, but I'm glad we were able to get them with Emma too. I am going to need a bigger frame though, that will hold all 3 now =)
Later on, we headed over to the Acton Park, to movie night =) Of course we had to go a little early to play on the playground first though. Super nice summer nights with my girls. Snow cones are also a must. So thankful to have these free movie nights with inexpensive snacks. It's a nice way to spend an evening together.

Aladdin Movie Night

My Mom saw that the Acton Park was hosting a movie night featuring Aladdin, and we all went to let the kids have a nice summer night out. They were able to play at the park while we waited for it to get dark.

When it was almost time for the movie to start, we settled down into our spots and bought some snacks for the kids.
I also packed some snacks with me, like these wax juice candies.
All of the kids were good today, except one. EMMA. Haha. She would not sit for the movie, because, duh, she's a baby, and movies are long. I took my Kindle that I was very grateful I brought, and went to go read on a bench while I put Emma down for a nap on my shoulder. When she was finally asleep I joined the group for the last bit of the movie.

The kids had a fun night, and enjoyed their popcorn and snow cones. I'm glad they sold snacks there, and I'm glad I remembered to bring cash. I like movie nights at the park. They're fun. Hopefully they do it again next summer, and Emma sits :p My first movie night at the park was Grease, with David and my family, the first year we met, before Katie was born =)

Thanks for reading my blog!
