Build-A-Bear Birthday

My friend Laura invited my kids to her daughter's birthday party. It was at Build-A-Bear and each kid was given an animal to stuff and take home. Emma picked a doggie.
Katie chose a bunny.

Emma washed her pup so nicely.
Group photo of all the kids.

Afterwards we met in the food court for cupcakes and presents.
When the party was over, I had promised Katie I would take her to buy her first purse. I showed her Charming Charlie's, which she LOVED. She picked out a hot pink purse for $8 and was so proud of herself. She felt so grown up and special. I love watching her grow up, so much. She's my baby forever.

I was proud of myself for finding similar outfits for the girls to wear. Because of the big age gap, it's hard to find matching clothes in both sizes. I thought they looked super cute.

Bobby's Big Day

I met my friends for breakfast this morning, since the wedding wasn't going to be until this evening. We went early and had a nice time catching up. We each have 2 daughters, so we had 9 girls at our table today! It was fun! I brought tons of quarters and the girls went crazy at the machines. They got gumballs, rings, sticky hands, all kinds of things lol. When it was over I met my Mom at the salon because she offered to take Katie to get her hair done for Bobby's wedding. Katie was asked to be a flower girl =) Her hair was a bit..too poofy for my taste, but she really liked it, so I didn't say anything. It was teased, and I just feel like that is something that's for older girls. But as long as Katie felt pretty, that's all that matters. I let her borrow the headband I wore on my wedding day and a necklace I was given for being Rachel's bridesmaid, and she looked beautiful. We got there early and took some photos and waited for it to start. The wedding was really pretty on the beach, the colors they picked were nice together. All the girls were so beautiful! Everyone had a really nice time and I got tons of great pictures. I was secretly bummed I didn't order a kid's meal for dinner, LOL, but it was still great. They chose a lemon raspberry cake, it came out so pretty. The kids danced, played around with the photo booth props, and had a great time. It was a fun wedding. A little hot, but not too bad since it was near the beach. Now there is a new Mrs. Wonser in the family! I love how both my family and my husband's family are so big, and it just keeps growing. So exciting to be able to see it and spend each year with so many people who I can call family.

Mall Morning

Whenever my friend Laura invites me to hang out, she always wants to go to the mall playground, haha. So I joined her today and we let the kids play together. Luckily I had quarters in my purse and some dollars so the kids were able to go on a few rides too. That's lucky, because I usually just have my debit card on me lol. They had a good time playing and I was able to catch up with my friend. It always makes me feel guilty when I do things in the morning without Katie, but I can't help that she has to go to school =/ When we got home, Katie and Emma were playing together and pushing Emma around in a shopping cart haha. They are so silly and cute together.

Visiting Friends

My friend Katherine is in town for a bit, so we have been hanging out a little bit. Laura and I went over to her house this morning, to hang out and catch up. Katie had school, but Emma came along to play with the other girls. She's the littlest one and tried to follow and keep up. It was cute.

Pearblossom Park

Laura invited Emma and I to go play at the park by her house while we wait for Katie to get out of school. It's a little far, but not too bad, and this way she's not always the one driving out for visits. I know it must be hard on her living so far from town right now.

Laura packed a few snacks for the girls when they got bored or tired from playing.
It was a nice day, but the kids didn't seem to want to play on the playground for very long. We ended up just walking around, til they sat by the baseball field and on their benches lol.

Izzy's Birthday Party

Katherine invited us down for her daughter's birthday this weekend. She lives in Huntington Beach now, so it was a bit of a drive, but way nicer than when she lived in Washington! haha. Laura was invited too, so she was going to meet us out there. It's nice to go to a party, and know someone there that you can talk to, besides the busy host :p
Their little picnic table for the kids in the back is so cute. The kids had fun playing with each other, though there were a few sharing problems, since there was only 1 car and 1 bike, and lots of little girls around lol. Plus the tiny owner wasn't too fond of other kids playing with her stuff either. Eventually the kids found the upstairs bedroom with the toys in it. Emma tried to go with them, but got distracted by how fun the stairs were. She wanted to go up and down and up and down, and eventually fell and almost rolled down a bit =( Thankfully Katherine's husband caught her. I sat next to her on the stairs after that, wishing they had a baby gate lol. Finally I couldn't take it anymore, too nervous with her climbing, and Laura and I walked our kids to the park right down the street, where we parked our cars. They played for a good thirty minutes before we drove home. It was nice out.

Emma Jean's Chuck E. Cheese Party

Laura invited me to her daughter's 4th birthday, at Chuck E. Cheese. It was a small party this year, she only invited a few people. She ordered pizza and gave tokens to the kids and they went to go play. My kids had fun =)

Emma At Chucks

Laura and her girls joined me and my girls for a playdate at Chuck E. Cheese. Emma couldn't do much, but I thought she'd like some of the small rides there. I was a little bit...wrong. Haha. She hated that swing, so I mostly just carried her around and we watched Katie play games and win tickets.
Chuck came out and we got the kids to take a picture with him, except it's really hard to get all the kids to look at the camera, so, I took what I could get and called it a day :p
Katie always picks a lollipop with her winnings, she is too cute. Love this girl.

Brooke Is Two!

Laura invited my girls and I over to her house to celebrate Brooke's 2nd birthday. These kids are all getting big so fast!

Katie and Emma were having fun playing outside on the bikes. Katie was nice enough to give Emma a ride, haha.

It was pretty fun, the girls liked playing with everyone too =)

Beach Babes

I went to Seal Beach with my friends and their kids, and it was so much fun! Katherine brought her two daughters (Izzy & Audri) and her sister (Shannon), Laura brought her two daughters (Emma & Brooke) and her friend Tina and her son Dustin, and I brought Katie, Emma and Lauryn. We brought lunch so the kids could eat when we got there, and I used the Pinterest idea I found, using a fitted sheet to keep the sand off your blanket. Worked pretty well until the kids kept getting on and off the sheet with their sandy feet, lol. At least their food was sand free.
They dug, made sandcastles, played in the water.

The best part of the day would probably be the boogie board though, of course! Katie was a superstar on it, and I helped Dustin and Izzy go on it a few times, too. They liked it!
Super fun day, my only regret is not getting a group photo!

Thanks for reading my blog!
