Rise Of The Jack O' Lanterns

I saw tickets on Groupon, for Rise of the Jack O'Lanterns. It looked pretty cool for only $12. I've never heard of it before, but I read online that they carve over 10,000 pumpkins, to look like celebrities, video games, spiders, dinosaurs, all kinds of things.
Katie was assigned her Girl Scout troop's Brownie Elf this week, so we brought her with us on our trip, too. Katie had fun for the first 20 minutes, then she dumped her in the stroller for the night.

Some of the pumpkins were really cool looking. Of course they had Frozen pumpkins. Katie liked those ones a lot.
All in all, I would say it was fun, and really neat to see all the carvings. BUT, on the other hand, it was VERY crowded and hard to even walk to the next exhibit. Add a stroller in the mix and it was just annoying. I'm not sure we'll go again next year. Maybe if they limit the number of people that go in at once, or something.
I was really glad my Grandma went with us, she doesn't usually go places. It was nice having her there and spending time with her =)

Preschool Harvest Party

My second day of work just happened to be the Harvest Party. Katie and I picked up her favorite cookies to bring to her class party. She was even dressed harvest-y in an apple outfit my Mom bought her a while back.

Stu Miller Is Back!

Is going to the pumpkin patch every year considered a tradition, or just something to do with the kids when you see it's opened for the month?
In any case, the kids love it! I made Katie a pillowcase dress to wear. She looks cute in my opinion ;p
I invited Katherine along so they could have some friends to go with too, but Izzy wasn't very interested in the rides or anything, so they ended up leaving soon after they arrived. I was bummed for them!
Katie, Hannah and Madison got their tickets though, and couldn't wait to get on some rides!
My beautiful girl. I love her to the moon.
The swings!!

Playing a game. She won a paddle ball, you know, those paddles with the ball attached to a string. She wasn't very good at it and got pretty frustrated. But at least she had fun playing, right? And to be fair, I'm an adult, and still not very good at those, lol.
Aye. My precious girl. Always wants to go on the slides. Always gets scared to come down once she's at the top. This isn't her first rescue, let me tell you. Woohoo for Grandmas though!
The girls ended the night with Mary taking a pumpkin cart and pulling the girls all around in it. They had so much fun! Pumpkin patch is a must. Every year. Going with friends is even better =)

Thanks for reading my blog!
