Trailer Park Boys

I bought David tickets to see the Trailer Park Boys for Christmas this year. I think it may have been his favorite present. He loves this show. This is the first time they've been out here to California, so when I saw they were on sale, I had to buy them for him. He was so surprised when he opened it =) We went together tonight and enjoyed a date night together. Super bummed now that I realize we didn't take any pictures together. We got there early and had dinner at KFC, just because it was close by and we didn't want to get lost or take too much time eating. Then we went next door to a little bar so David could order a drink while we waited for the theater to open. The show was really funny. The audience was raunchy, the actors were surprised at how all their jokes were turning when they had audience participation. I guess they didn't know how LA would be lol. The actors are from Canada, where the show is filmed. I laughed a lot, even though I don't watch the show, it was still funny to watch them on stage. And it was nice to spend time with David doing something that made him happy =)

Wicked At The Pantages

For Christmas, my Mom had given me tickets to see Wicked with Katie. Since she likes the Wizard of Oz, I thought she might like Wicked. I had never seen it before either. My Mom drove us down there and took Emma to play at the park while we watched the show. We bought snacks and a magnet when we got inside. It was a neat show, but towards the end I could tell it was getting to be too long for Katie. I'm glad we were able to spend time together though, it's nice. I miss that girl a lot since I have to share my attention with Emma now too. She said she did like the show, I think she just wished it was shorter :p She liked Defying Gravity, of course haha. The show's biggest song :p

Hollywood Bound

My Mom and Mary took Katie hiking to the Hollywood sign while I was stuck in class at AVC. Was I jealous? Pretty much. But Katie had a lot of fun, so I'm glad about that.

Thankful For Tangled

For Thanksgiving this year my Mom, Desiree, Katie, and I went to see the new movie Tangled about Rapunzel. Before we left we met up at my Grandma's house where I ran into my cousin Ashley on her way to have dinner with her boyfriend's family.
They decorated with a little tower and Rapunzel's hair coming out of it, I thought that was cute.
They gave us these Tangled coins, because this is the 50th Animated Motion Picture by Disney!

It always cracks me up to see the funny characters on the street over there. Iron Man & Diego this time.

This man plays Disney songs on the piano before the show starts :)
What's a movie without popcorn? This bucket had unlimited refills :)
Before the movie started, they did a cute pre-show. Mickey & Friends and the Princess' came out and sang and danced. Super cute!
 Aladdin & the Genie.
& the stars of the show- Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.
The Wedding Mickey and Minnie came out too. I've never seen them before, I thought it was so cute! :)
Confetti! & time for the movie!
After the movie, my Mom bought Katie a new toy in the Disney store next door. A Rapunzel toy of course! :p

I'm thankful for my beautiful girl Katie, my husband David, my Mom who helps me out in life, my family, my friends, my cousins and their kids, the fun places we go, my Disneyland Annual Pass, my car that gets me around even if it isn't a looker, my new house that I love so much, play time with Katie, Starbucks on cold days, pumpkin bread season, David's little space heater to keep me warm at night, electric blankets, David not being in the war, Disney movies, the car heater, Taylor Swift's music, my cell phone that I would die without, Chick Flicks, college even though I hate going, Katie's beautiful hair, her amazing personality, the fact that Katie is potty trained, that Katie knows how to spell/write her name, being able to be a stay-at-home Mommy right now, Christmas time, decorating the tree, Candycane Lane, my gardener even though he comes too much haha, tax refunds, books, my laptop, Raspberry Iced Tea, and everything good about my life! =)
