Park With Izzy
Love Love Love having Katherine in town. We took the girls to the park today, just a small one a few minutes from Katherine's Dad's house. Katherine and I were able to hang out and chat, and the girls had a fun time playing =)

Traveling Through Travel Town
Since Sam is still down visiting from New Mexico with his Dad, Mary wanted to take him to Travel Town. Sam loves trains. A lot.
We rode a small kid train.
Played with trains.
Had a snow cone snack.
Drove the few minutes over to Griffith Park and rode the carousel.
Bought Christmas gifts for Anthony and Ashleigh.
Found some ponies to ride.
And ended the day with a silly ride home, with a stop at Don Cuco's for dinner :p
The kids had fun, the adults had fun, good day!

Disneyland In October
We all went to Disneyland with the kids. October is a nice time to go. It's crowded, but decorated nice for the holiday. Pumpkins, Ghosts, and Fall decorations.
The kids are so funny on the Haunted Mansion. They love it, but still get a little spooked by it.
The kids got their autograph books ready and we waited in the long line for Pooh and friends.
Lunch at the Pizza Port was as yummy as ever. Katie got spaghetti and chocolate milk and I got the Chicken Alfredo, yum!
After everyone's belly was full, we let the girls go see the Princesses. We had to wait a long time, but thankfully one of the kids in line had a bubble gun, and the kids were entertained for a while.
On the way out of the Princess Faire, the girls wanted to get their face painted.
I love this hat my Mom found for Katie at Target. So cute, and matched her outfit =)
Time to go home now! A long, fun day coming to an end!
Our last stop as we strolled down Main Street was to get snacks for the kids. Katie picked out a cupcake that she took about 3 bites of. Ahh, kids.

Happy Birthday Mom!
I bought my Mom her favorite cake from Costco and we celebrated at my Grandma's house. My Mom is now 42. My Aunt Becky's birthday is a few days after my Mom's, so when I found out she was coming to the party, I figured I should put her name on the cake too. I didn't expect them to put her name before my Mom's, but oh well!
Birthday girls
These girls are silly. They sure loved the chocolate cake and milk! :p
Happy Birthday, Mom. I hope you have a great year ahead of you!

Mickey's Halloween Party!
Mickey's Halloween Party is becoming our new tradition. It is always so much fun, every year we want to go again. This year Sam and Mary came with us. Sam dressed as Thomas the Train and Katie dressed as Strawberry Shortcake. She loves Strawberry Shortcake right now. She has almost every movie, her collection keeps growing each time we go to the store since they're usually not more than $10. This year the event was in Disneyland. I think the first time we came, it was in California Adventure.
I love that the rides are all available, even though we're technically there to trick-or-treat. I also love that the park closes early at 8 for everyone there for a normal day's admission. It's nice when the crowd goes home for the night and we're only left with those who are there for the Halloween Party until closing time.
I also love that they give good chocolate candy (as in, not the cheap kind like Smarties and Lemon Heads lol), that you know will be safe for your kids to eat.
We found Phineas and Ferb!
The cutest Strawberry Shortcake I've ever seen.
Time to end the night with some apple juice. Trick-or-treating takes a lot of energy!
It was such a good day. What day at Disneyland isn't though, right?! I can't wait to go again next year! I love being able to take Katie places. I hope she gets to have fun experiences and go everywhere there is to go. I love finding fun things to do with her. I love her so much.

Over The Hill
Bobby's birthday was this weekend. We went out to dinner, and then headed back to his house for cake and presents.
His girlfriend was nice enough to buy him some "Over The Hill" candles, haha.
After dinner, Katie and Annabelle put on a show for everyone. Katie dressed up and started dancing for everyone.
Then she got a volunteer from the audience to dance with.
Finally, the show ended with Katie and Annabelle being stuck together in the robe. They're so silly. Glad Katie had a fun night. A fun night for her makes a happy Mommy.
