Easter Vacation, Day 3- Easter!
Easter morning came, and the kids must have been good, because Easter baskets were on the table waiting for them when they woke up.
They left carrots out for the Easter Bunny, since Santa gets cookies.
How did the Easter Bunny know?! Katie has been asking me for this Slushy Magic for weeks because she saw the infomercial on tv.
I love when she gets happy and excited over her new things.
The girls got fancy for the Egg Hunt.
Winner!
For lunch, we went to Olive Garden. Desiree lives too far and doesn't get to go often, so we try to let her go when we're around one!
After lunch we hung out at the hotel for a bit.
This vacuum was a hot commodity in this place! Everyone wanted to play with it! Too funny!
We went back to the park so the kids could have fun.
Ice cream at McDonald's =)
Then back to the hotel to play with Katie's new water balloon pump.
Taking pictures before it's time to go home. We won't see them for months =(
Not looking forward to the long drive home, but it sure was a fun weekend! Glad Katie was able to spend so much time playing with her cousins! Happy Easter everyone!

Easter Vacation, Day 2
When the girls woke up, they dressed in their matching outfits Gee Gee bought them.
Sam thought he was hilarious for letting his juice drip down his chin after taking a drink.
Bacon sandwiches for breakfast, but Katie just wanted the bacon :p
After we ate, we found a nearby park to take the kids to.
I don't even know how my family found this place, but we came across Tinkertown Museum and stopped to look around. Apparently it was on MTV before, but that sounds hard to believe. It's just a dinky little weird place, lol.
A wall of bottles.
The kids were pressing buttons and watching the little figurines move.
Candy snack!
They had a little spot where you could stick notes inside the bottles, trapping them inside forever :p
I'm a sucker for buying things based on looks/cool bottles. True story. Katie and I got matching bottles to drink ;p
When we got back to the Air Force base hotel, the kids played for a bit and colored Easter Eggs with their Grandma's while the parents went to the mall for an Orange Julius and to look in the Disney Store.
After this fun filled day, the kids were ready for BED! They took a good shower and got comfy to watch a little tv before knocking out.

Easter Vacation, Day 1
Katie and I took a day off work on Friday, and went with my family to New Mexico to visit Desiree for Easter. Katie did awesome on the long car ride!
We took many breaks to get gas and food, and let the kids go potty.
Sometimes they just needed to run and stretch.
Can't wait to get to New Mexico and be able to sleep! 14 hour car rides are killer.

Katie's Preschool Easter Party
All the classrooms at work had an Easter Egg Hunt for their kids, and then a special snack.
Katie's hat and goodie bag she made =) She even got to color a few hard boiled eggs in class. Super fun! Guess how long we were in the car before she was asking if she could eat her candy? Haha.

A Beautiful Garden & KidSpace
My Mom, Katie and I went to a pretty garden to walk around and take pictures. Katie picked her beautiful butterfly dress to wear.
Of course I brought my tripod!
Once Katie got bored with the garden, we moved on to KidSpace, a children's museum.
Before we left I bought a little caterpillar to take to work, so my class could watch it turn into a butterfly. It had little air holes in the top, and the stuff on the bottom was food for it to eat in the next few weeks. It's so tiny!
Pretty good day off work =)
