Birthday Photos

Desiree bought Katie a super cute outfit for her 5th birthday, so I took her to the mall to take pictures. The worker was helping someone else pick out their packages, so I played around with my own camera out of boredom.

Our First Pinterest Experiment

Thank you Pinterest for this neat idea! And thank you Dollar Tree for letting me get it all for $4 ;p All I had to do was open up a highlighter and put it in the water. David had a black light in the garage already, perfect! Katie was having so much fun playing with the Glow Water!

 But we were attracting too many flying bugs so we had to move it indoors!

Katie's Spelling

Katie is slowly learning to spell and write better these days, which is great considering she's not even in Kindergarten yet! She's awesome! I was in my room getting dressed this morning, when she slipped this under my door "Can iy cum in yor rrom." Haha. So cute, and easily able to see that it's "Can I come in your room?" She's so great.

Independence Day

Happy 4th Of July! My family met at Gee Gee's to celebrate in the evening.

Sparklers while we wait for it to get dark! So impatient!

The kids all had fun =) I think even the adults did! After our fireworks ran out, the kids watched the neighbors who had tons. Pretty fun night! AND I was off work! School is closed for the 4th, woohoo for holidays!

4th Of July Family Photos

I got my tripod out and made David and Katie take some pictures with me. We don't have too many family pictures since David has been in the Army, so I'm glad we were able to get some cute ones today. I love them. Katie and I went to Kohl's and she picked out her outfit. She looks so cute!

Couldn't Wait One More Day

Apparently, waiting until tomorrow to do fireworks was just too much for Katie and David, so they decided to do a few sparklers in the backyard tonight.

 Afterwards, Katie invited me to a tea party.

Nice relaxing day at home with my family!

Drytown With David Robert

My Mom, Mary and I took David and Katie to Drytown for a few hours. They had a lot of fun!
