Who Needs The Park?

To celebrate the last day of Christmas Vacation, we wanted to get together and do something, but didn't want to spend too much money. We decided on going to my Mom's for a BBQ and to let the kids play together.

 I bought chocolate dip and brought my mini crock pot to my Mom's. We stuck everything in that thing haha. It was so yummy!

 After we ate the kids played in the front yard on Katie's bike, scooter, and skates. She's learning how to skate and does better each time she practices. She's growing up so quickly!

Swingin' Away

The kids love the new swing my Mom has! So much fun. Gets me a little motion sick, but I can handle it for a few minutes, haha.

Disney New Year

I bought us tickets a few months back for Disney on Ice: Rockin' Ever After because they were on sale for only $15 if we went Jan. 1st. That was good with me! =) This is Emma's first ice show. Katie and Emma wore matching clothes (kind of) and were ready to go!

 Katie insisted on wearing the Anna cape she got for Christmas. She's cute.

 I always let Katie pick 1 snack or toy, she always picks a snow cone!

Really cute show, it had Ariel, Belle, Rapunzel and Merida. Both girls enjoyed it. Emma did pretty darn good, only getting a little bit fussy. I was able to watch the whole thing with her =)

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

2013 is coming to an end, and I am so excited for the new year to begin. I can't wait to watch Emma grow, and to continue to enjoy Katie's life. Next year will be even more fun than this one and I'm so anxious for it. Katie will be turning 7, will be big enough for the slides at Drytown, and will be going to 2nd grade! Emma will turn 1, start saying words, and learn to walk! David will start his new job at the Sheriff's Station. Happy New Year Everyone!

Snow At Kidspace

We took the girls to Kidspace museum to play in the snow area they have there right now. It was really fun, Katie had a blast. Emma enjoyed being outside.

My Mom found snowball makers in the gift store. Sooo fun.

Super cool day there with the snow, glad they thought of this! The snow area wasn't as large as I imagined, but still awesome for the kids to play in. Katie thought it was hilarious to throw snow at my Mom and me, and Emma had so much excitement that she fell asleep on me :p

Wonser Christmas

Lynn was nice enough to host Christmas this year =)

Emma was a handful! It was loud so she couldn't sleep, so she was crankyyy. I held her all night long. It was so hot from the cooking, she ended up in her onesie by the end of the night.

Every year the Wonsers ask you to send out a list, so they know what to buy the kids. They hardly ever follow it though, which cracks me up. People just get what they think the kids will like, which is perfectly fine with me. Anyway, of all the things on Katie's list, she got 2. Both movies she asked for. And she was soooo excited to get it, she started saying "This was on my list! This was on my list!" hahaha. I love her.

The girls were trying to cheer Travis up, because he didn't get anything from his list. He asked for Legos. In my defense, no one sent me the list for Travis and Karli. David ended up going to his house the next day and taking him some Legos.

I just love this girl so much. She's hilarious.

Michael's girlfriend Kelly is very creative, and made this lamp for Lynn with Karli. So neat!

Zoey was given some puzzles, and she loved them!

Fun night except for Emma's whiny butt, lol.

Christmas Morning 2013

Katie and Emma woke us up bright and early to open their presents. Or, around 7:30 :p

 After we spent the morning at home opening presents, the girls and I headed over to Gee Gee's to visit and then over to my Mom's to open the presents she bought Katie. David decided to come too.

 My Mom bought Katie (and Emma) this swing. She sure loves it! It's really cool!

 Took a break for breakfast at iHop.

 Then we headed back over to my Mom's to play and kill time until we had to go to the Wonser's.
