New Playground

I thought the kids would like to have a playground in the backyard, so I ordered them one for Christmas. It took way longer than expected to put it together, David and Steven were out there for 2-3 days working on it for hours and hours, but didn't have enough time to finish it by Christmas morning, so we had to give it to them a few days late. David told them they forgot to open one of their presents. They seem to like it! I purposely got one with monkey bars, because I know that Katie will soon be too old for a playground, but not too old for monkey bars for a while. Those are fun for older kids too. The clubhouse part of it is pretty cool for her too.

I'm going to have to order a baby swing for Emma to be able to use it.

Pretty cool. Now they can go outdoors and play on the grass we have back there. With the dogs locked up on the side yard, it's perfect =)

Wonser Christmas 2014

We celebrated Christmas night with David's family. It was little Audrey's first Christmas. Lynn cooked a nice meal for everyone while they sat and chatted with each other. The family is getting so big it's getting harder to seat everyone in one house :p

Everyone brought over presents for the kids and the grandparents. while the Grandparents bought presents for everyone else. Lynn always wraps hers the fanciest.
Of course the kids wanted to open the presents so bad! haha.

 I love these goofballs.

It's funny how when the kids get older, they ask for clothes and things instead of toys. If I gave Katie clothes for Christmas, she would be bummed a little, lol.
David finally got his gun safe he's been wanting. Now I feel better the kids can't get near them, and he feels better because no one can steal them easily.
The older girls ran to the bathroom after, to try their new curling iron. Came out nice!
Christmas has such a warm feeling to it. Being around family, but different than a birthday in some way. I'm enjoying watching my kids grow, but I know when they do, I'm going to miss them at this age. I love them so much.

Merry Christmas everyone, I hope your holiday was wonderful.

Christmas With Daddy

The girls were really good about waiting until Daddy got home to open their stockings and presents. It's nice to have that special family time doing our Christmas together. The girls liked their gifts. I tried really hard not to go overboard this year. I'm slowly realizing they don't NEED 20 new toys.
Possibly because they got to open some last night and this morning, but either way! They did good!

Now it is time to get our butts over to the Wonser Christmas before we're late! :p

My Christmas Gift

One of the great things about being a Mom, is the cute presents they make you for holidays. Katie's class made this cute card holder in school and she gave it to me on Christmas morning. It was my favorite gift. I love that girl so much.

Christmas Morning With Grandma

While David was at work, the girls and I got up early and went to my Mom's house to open the presents she bought the kids. Poor Katie, she always buys her clothes lol.
Emma got a really cool wagon, she likes it!
Santa left Katie a new bike at Grandma's house too. Super fun.
Both lazies fit in the wagon, that's cool ;p Now when Katie gets too tired, she can take a ride lol.
My Mom bought me a vacuum this year, I guess that means I'm truly an adult now, right? haha. It was a good morning! =)

Elves Like Minecraft Too

When your elf is up playing Minecraft on the xbox while everyone in the house is asleep. Haha.

2nd Grade Christmas Party

Emma and I went to Katie's Christmas party, because Katie likes when I go, so for now, while she wants me there, I'll go :p We watched them do a relay race with an egg on the spoon. The kids were so funny,

Then Katie won the game in class, where you had to balance the candy cane on a string, but not by the hook/cane part, but by the tip it. But since there was a tie, they had to do it again and she lost the second time. Still cool though.
My Grandma bought her a cute Christmas headband.
The Christmas present she made for me at school this year. I wonder what it is!
And of course, snack time. Tomorrow is her last day before Christmas break. It's going to be nice having her home with me for 2 weeks. I love this little girl so much.
The day she is too old for me to go to her parties, whether it's from her not wanting me there, or the teacher saying it's just for students, is going to be a little sad, lol. I love watching this girl grow up. It's happening so fast.

Brownie Christmas Exchange

Katie's troop did a Christmas gift exchange again this year. They did it like musical chairs, whatever present you stop in front of, is the one you get to keep. The girls were pretty excited. We bought the Girl Scout Barbie as our gift. Of course the girl who got it, is the one girl whose Mom had already bought it for her =/ lol. She traded it with another girl scout, embarrassing!!! hahaha.
 Katie got this one.
The leader bought these craft books for all the girls. That was nice of her =)
After exchanging gifts all the girls had snack. It was a fun meeting. I love the holidays. Now we take a break for a few weeks and get back together next year!

Candy Cane Lane 2014

One of my favorite holiday traditions- Candy Cane Lane. I love walking around looking at the pretty lights and eating snacks. This year, the snacks let me down though. The city started making them pay taxes for selling treats, so the prices were raised this year =( $4 for a brownie (and they throw in a free water bottle) but still. That's expensiveee. Bummer. AND they can't sell after 9pm anymore. We had to hurry and pick a snack before closing time. I got nothin'. They sold out of brownies and weren't making more since it was close to 9. Katie got popcorn and a brownie, but forgot her brownie on the table while she stirred her hot chocolate and we walked away without it, not realizing it until a few minutes later =/ The kids all had a lot of fun though. We all drove up in Ashleigh's van together.

I know it's mostly the same decorations every year- but I still love it!

The wagon was a big hit. All the lazy kids were crying and trying to squish in it. We made them take turns, but they still whined lol. Hopefully they're better walkers next year :p

Katie's 2nd Grade Christmas Performance

My baby girl is preforming the Christmas performance today that she has worked on in school for the past few months. I have heard her singing Country Boys for too long, glad to see it coming to an end haha. Her school sends us all the songs on Dropbox so the kids can learn them better and work on them at home. I have the whole song list for her on my phone, and she takes advantage of it!! lol. She wore a beautiful Christmas dress and sang her heart out. She did great!
I'm so thankful for all the family that came out to see her =) So much love and support, I hope that's what she feels when she sees everyone in the audience. Her Grandpa and Steven were there too, but I couldn't find them for photos after the show.

Thankfully Emma was behaved enough that I could watch the show :p My little rascal baby <3 br="">

O' Christmas Tree

The kids and I decorated the tree together and hung up the stockings. The house is looking more like Christmas now, and we love it. It's our favorite time of the year. Well, I can't speak for Emma yet, but I can say it for Katie and me =)
My Mom bought me a bunch of the cutest ornaments last year for Christmas, and this year I get to use them =)

Mommy's little helpers! I love these kids so much. Nice and comfy in jammies and ready for bed.

Thanks for reading my blog!
