Emma Jean's Birthday Party

Laura threw Emma Jean a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate her 3rd birthday. It was the first of the month, and the first Saturday of the month, so BOY, was it crowded!! But Katie seemed to enjoy herself, and so did the birthday girl! Only the parents seemed to be going cross-eyed at how many people were there, haha.

 I love my daughters so much! I hope they're always friends.

Color Me Rad

When something like the Color Me Rad 5k comes into your small town, you go! Most of my family bought tickets and we all went together.

I picked up this cool Color Blaster for Katie the day before, at packet pick-up.

Mary ran the whole thing with Madison instead of walking with us. She was very proud of herself.

I had fun walking with everyone and taking cool colorful pictures =)

They had a few cute signs to take pictures by.

It's true. We pretty much have been rad since forever.

The kids had so much fun! They got very colorful and got lots of energy out!

These 5k's are so much fun and totally worth the money, when they have that little extra, like bubbles or color packets. I am not one to do a regular 5k, it bores me to pay $30+ to walk the street like I could any day, but when they allow the kids to play and have fun, it's worth it =)

So glad that it was in Lancaster this time, so we didn't have to drive far! It made it that much better!

Emma Jean's 3rd Birthday

I stopped by Laura's house to let her use my Mickey waffle maker. She wanted to make her daughter Emma a special birthday breakfast. I brought a big Dora balloon with me for her, and she loved it.

Emma's First Park Trip

David and I took the kids to the park today. Still so weird for me to say "kids." This was Emma's first time, and although she couldn't really do much, she likes just being outside and looking around. Katie had enough fun for the both of them, especially since I brought bubbles for them to play with =)

Emma's Hike

Lauryn, Oscar, and I took Emma on a hike this morning, just by the aqueduct. She enjoys the time outdoors, and it was nice to exercise for a bit. The only bummer, I tried to get her tired so she would take a nice nap for me after. She was up most of the day until it was time to pick up Katie from school. Bummer!

Preston's Birthday

Jennifer had a birthday dinner for Preston down by their house. It was just a simple night at Outback. Emma was fussy, being a tiny little thing stuck in the seat with me for a few hours, it was hard. Glad she wasn't too bad. Zoey was not a happy camper either. Hopefully there aren't too many restaurants in our future! :p

Girl Scout Birthday

Our troop leader invited us to her daughter's 7th birthday. She had cool things for the kids. Jumper, Cotton Candy machine, nacho machine, pinata, etc. Katie had a good time. Even Daddy joined us this time =) I love when he goes with us!
